4 x line to modular levels DIY?

Post by Drilldoughzer » Sun Sep 15, 2019 7:50 pm

Hi! What kits would you recommend to bring line levels to modular levels?
It could be something else not a DIY kit necessarily...

I want to bring up my Sonic Potions LXR to modular levels.

I would build 4 amps into one 4hp module.

Doable?

Thanx!

I tough of 4 microphonie kits sandwiched together with spacers without the piezo and wiring the pots and in/outs directely to my custom panel. If I go down that route, for power, could I just mult the rails to each power connector pads and just use one ribbon cable?

Yep.

This is another option. Can also be used as envelope follower and gate extractor for your drum machine. x4 of course :sb:

Line to Synth is a fairly easy op amp with some gain...

EDIT: If the schematic is too much gain you can increase the value of R15 or put a pot in front of the R13/C11 junction as a level control.

You could grab the circuit from my AI006, and I suppose the panel too?

Just take the return circuit and play with the reistors (or build as is and use the attenuator to bring it down a bit).

another cheap ish idea is to go to guitar pedal diy zone and just pick some booster kits from there, definately enough aplification.. and if you want you can pick from a million different pre-amp circuit colours.

check pedalpcb or musikding.de
