3 oscillators, 1 multimode filter, 3 envelopes, 3 LFOs, 10 modulation slots and 2 operators per voice (lag and mult)
12 « analog » oscillator types + 4 FM-able oscillators for OSC1
12 « analog » oscillator types + 8 multisampled wavetables for OSC2 and OSC3 (FM source)
8 filter types with FM
Per voice and per oscillator detuning options for analog character
Deep modulation matrix
Delay + reverb (per program)

MicroMonsta 2 is a brand new synth design based on our critically acclaimed MicroMonsta synthesizer.
Despite the fact they share the same name, they are different in every way: brand new hardware with much more powerful dsp, upgraded switches and encoders, new low profile sexy aluminum enclosure, different internal architecture and updated algorithms. Everything has been re-done from scratch. It is also USB powered and the output can drive a pair of headphones.

thanks for posting. I was supposed to get an email from them when this was ready.

i have the version 1. i think that it's one of the best deals available....i actually asked them, and unlike their hype about the new one being so much better, they said that they were just very different. we'll see. the first version is worth keeping if i have to take a huge hit on it.

their fx box is really good, btw.

Thanks for posting. I have the original Micromonsta and the Dr A FX box. Both have had lots of use. I really like my MM v1 and consider it a super wee polysynth. Once you factor the price of MM's in, they are a total bargain.

I note the MM V2 has 2 X 6 polyphony. I wonder if this can be configured as 1 X 12 polyphony? One of the great things about the MM v1 is the 8 note polyphony....

I recently picked up a Nord A1 Lead, otherwise I am sure I would spring for a MM v2, but not get rid of my MM v1.

The manual has been posted now, and yes it can do 1 X 12 polyphony.

Very cool sounding. It definitely seems far more unapologetically digital than the MM1. I wouldn't sell my MM1 for this at all considering the price of these things, I could easily justify both.

are there any forums / groups for micromonsta users? after messing around for a couple hours (and working my way through the manual a bit) i have a couple questions..

but it sounds great and its tiny! been waiting for a synth like this for years

a bit more detailed answer; i didnt have the first version - but im very into the simplified layout and the flexibility of filters / oscillators and the matrix architecture. struggling a bit with learning the workflow but i think that will come eventually.

its really small (smaller than any audio interface ive had) so im very much looking forward to taking this on the road for sessions / hotel rooms / live shows.. but still need to learn about patch storage / transfer.
