Wow! Did you swap other modules for all that Harvestman or did you just add more cases so you could grow?

I started with a few synthesis technology modules, Triatt, and Synthrotek sequencer in a homemade skiff, quickly ran out of space and began filling up 4 Ikea nightstands. Yes, the Harvestman modules pushed out many others. The other 2 Ikea cases are holding mostly Make Noise (12u) and one row of others, so I guess I don't fit the category you mentioned.

The cases are next to each other, but my tendency is to use either the MN rack or the IME/H. rack, not both together.

I'm surprised you don't have any versions of Donut in your setup, but do have 2 Piston Hondas. I mean, I know that you sold me your HDmk2, but why no donuts? Do you have other complex oscillators elsewhere that you like better? Just need a change?

after many years of experimenting, i just found that i am more of a wavetable guy, just suits what i like to make a little better. ph mk1 pretty much lives as a wave-shaper, but i break it out once in a while for oscillator duties because i do love the flavor of it.

That alone is a lot though! There's so much power in those modules. In terms of DA, it depends on what you're after. For complex drones mk II might be better. For more percussive stuff, and more character, mk II is probably better. I have both and love them, I just find the envelopes in mk II a little sluggish even with the faster response setting.

It is a lot I’m still trying to wrap my head around Kermit,
MkII was is the one I have my eye on for sure but it might be a better idea to wait on Andore Jr. Was mainly attracted to the layout of that monster.

Here's mine. Most of these I bought back in my early Euro days ~ 8-10 years ago. Built a new case last weekend as an iso project.
I have a second Hertz Donut, which I swap out for the Honda depending on mood. I'd rack them both, but I wanted to keep it at 104hp, and also symmetrical.

I have a second, all analog, mostly Make Noise rack that usually sits under this one. The interplay between the two aesthetics pleases me :sb:

I really like the look of the Harvestman mk1 modules with all black knobs especially when they all match on a single case. Unfortunately some of my mk1s came with either the newer orange knobs or a mix of black and orange.

I like to see the visual difference between the mk1s and mk2s.

Regardless, they all sound :sb:

Yes, I much prefer the old black knobs.
I went so far as to buy a load of the mk1 Knobs just as they were discontinued, to "downgrade" some of my modules with mixed v1 and 2 knobs :)

I had two for quite a while. I swapped out one for a mk I. I prefer it generally, but specifically for snappier and more percussive sounds. I won’t get rid of the mk II because it’s the king of drones.

Both DAs seem very cool but I've never felt the need for one. More than enough ground covered by my original combo of Intellijel mew-vca + maths. Plus any number of other envelopes, filters, lpgs etc. And most recently those wonderful glitchy AD waves on Kermit 3 (an effect I've patched by hand for years, made much easier).
Maybe the mk 3. I also thought I wouldn't "need" a Lester mk 3 but it turns out I did.
