Where to buy Cables? noob question
Hello everyone,
I was wondering where a good place to buy
cables from besides ad infinitum, or AH, or Big City.
Is there a place you can just buy bulk from?
thanks!

Monoprice is probably your cheapest option, as mentioned above.
RCA plug construction can be a bit funny, so I don't think you'd be putting yourself at a big risk buying a few 3.5mm cables and trying them out.

This can indeed be an issue. I have 4 RCA cables from them & the plugs are falling apart. On the other hand, their USB and HDMI cables are excellent.whitewulfe wrote:Monoprice apparently has some inexpensive ones, but I've heard their quality isn't as high as other, slightly more expensive offerings.

I have a bunch of those deepsurplus cables too. The build quality on them is not amazing, I have a couple where a plug is not seated quite right and is at a noticeable angle to its housing. It's no big deal, they all work fine, and they are cheap. Wrap the cable with a little color coding sticker on each end and you're set for less than 60 cents each and only a few minutes of work.

Seconding Erthenvar. Those cables are much better than the cheap cables I've been buying at PCH Cables.

this seems too good to be true, seller is advertising between US $ 0.1 - 0.4 / Piece
has anyone out there tried this? I seriously need 180+ patch cables by May 21st.

yep. when i started my system, i bought 20 of the 24 inch black ones, and they have all held up. my only beef was that they came all tied up, so they are kinked like crazy... i still have yet to figure out a good way to straighten them out. maybe i'll heat them a little with a hair dryer or something.qu.one wrote:http://www.allelectronics.com/
that said, i eventually ordered some AI ones for different lengths and my white erthenvar order just showed up today. i should be set for a while!
