Droolmaster your opinions here are along mine. Not only with sequencers but other modules and instruments as a whole. Poor Dave Smith designs all of these great instruments that everyone begs for for years... makes them affordable, yet none of them are perfect or sound like the Prophet Five... which would be better if.....
I sooo agree about the dual sequncer mentality. I am still getting into my Arrick 960 sequencer and wonder what a whole different beast like this http://www.analogic-acs.com/tm116.html which is made by Gur from TipTop Audio would do for mixing things up.

That doesn't mean that nobody is listening. I often take days to make a comment that is more than "Nice Choons, dood." Or I didn't like it so I didn't comment. I listen to a lot of the stuff that gets uploaded here and much of it gets into an iTunes play list. I love most your shit, Baba. I gots its own lil' list in iTunes as well. I love it when people post stuff. If they are uncomfortable doing so then that's cool.
People do listen.
People do listen.

I've been curious about this for awhile; David from Innerclock Systems is a fan.MindMachine wrote:I am still getting into my Arrick 960 sequencer and wonder what a whole different beast like this http://www.analogic-acs.com/tm116.html which is made by Gur from TipTop Audio would do for mixing things up.

Shut up and do a recording and post it!droolmaster0 wrote:At some point I'll post stuff. Until then I feel absolutely no obligation to do so. If what I say doesn't stand on its own without needing clips for justification, then the hell with it. I find the 'demands' for clips and pics to be quite annoying actually.

It will happen.drewtoothpaste wrote:Droolmaster - No annoyance or demands intended, I'm just genuinely curious since I've seen you around for years (AH and elsewhere) and you're one of the few in the community whose music I don't remember listening to. If you do decide to post stuff, I'll listen, though!

Well, fine, then. It never happened. Now, the question is, what has more truth value - the fact that it never happened, or the fact that you say that it being made public means it never happened.Soy Sos wrote:Audio! Audio! Audio! Audio!
Or it never happened.
A simple disproof of the never happened nonsense - Since I have not posted audio publicly, it therefore never happened. But if it's never happened, then how could I possibly ever post it publicly?

hehe, I kid, I love your non-sharing. Sharing is over rated.
so blimmin' true. And to be honest I think this goes for a wide number of different things you'll find in a modular.Multiple analog (especially) sequencers with complementary features will always beat one expensive sequencer, if that sequencer (even if feature packed) lacks what multiple sequencers will give you - independent sequences.
