Cool synth/modular t-shirts? Good design is a must

Post by Bath House » Sun Apr 14, 2013 1:23 pm

It's getting warm and I'm tired of wearing crappy threadless designs or plain tees. What manufacturers also make rad shirts? I'd like to rep some of these modular guys or other boutique weirdos if they have rad logos. No cafepress nerdlord oversized Hanes beefy tees if possible and no "hilarious" slogans, just cool looking stuff plz.

skreened.com has some print by order designs - ARP, Wasp, etc. American Apparel option on most tees so they're soft, too.

Moog has some cool shirts, one with the Model 15 modular. Be warned though, their shirts are made by a local company, and while fitted and very soft, they seriously run small. I usually wear a Large in American Apparel, and their XL is slightly tighter than an American Apparel Large (I got the big knob one).

I'd be interested in some cool synth shirts too, and yes, something similar to American Apparel brand.

None of the shirts listed here are as good as our own Muff's t-shirt.

Mutable Instruments:

USA: http://mutable-instruments.spreadshirt.com

Europe: http://mutable-instruments.spreadshirt.net

The shirts marked "heavyweight" in the US store (and presumably "standard" in Europe) are Gildan instead of American Apparel. Gildan fits me better.

I have the "Rainbow Assembly" exploded view of the Shruthi, plus two different colors of the SMR4 mkII filter PCB.

Check out www.analogthread.com - We launched earlier in 2016, and have been adding new designs ever since.

I'm a graphic designer by trade, so I started Analog Thread to fund my Eurocrack addiction and give the community and myself some fresh threads to sport. :hyper:

If anyone has any new design ideas, I'm open to make it happen!

I have three of the Muff's shirts. They always start conversations, as in, "I'm trying to figure out your shirt, but can't make any sense of it." They usually smile and nod while I explain the synth bit, then look at me with a certain pity when I explain the cat.

Nice wish those rash proof screws had Philips heads though! I have scratched the odd module slipping out of that type.

comboutique is a good place printing on Fruit of the Loom.

I did a couple of designs for fun back in 2009, Roland pretty much brought out the same design for their Aira series lol I suppose it not that original.

I wish there was a rerun of some of the analog industries giants of electronic musc shirts. I've worn out my varese, and i missed out of the derbyshire shirts...
