Make Noise 0-Ctrl
They’ve been posting some especially cryptic stories on IG. Anyone know anything?

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
So far: a skeleton on a black background, pushing what looks like a touchpad, which opens a gate with bright white light spilling out. He walks through and the scene turns pink, with him now in black. He walks past... other touchplates? touch sliders? sound level meters? behind him.
The music sounds very 0-Coast-like with reverb.
Based on extremely thin evidence and wishful thinking: maybe a touch controller in an 0-Coast style enclosure? Not necessarily the same sort of conductive touchplates as Pressure Points and Rene, but more like Soundmachines or Tetrapad... the skeleton represents someone with really dry skin
Or they are just making cool animations to mess with our minds.

Maybe this has something to do with it?

We’ll have to wait until the 5th, though
Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
And now there’s a new IG story (nr4) pointing to above video.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
Obviously, it transforms your modular into an electronic Mariachi ensemble.
Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
Looks touchy platey to me
Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
Would LOVE a little touch controller + step sequencer with multiple signal outs to pair with the øcoaststarthief wrote: ↑Fri May 01, 2020 6:37 amSo far: a skeleton on a black background, pushing what looks like a touchpad, which opens a gate with bright white light spilling out. Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
A touch/sequencer new module will be welcome. I'm hoping Make Noise will make a smaller version of the shared system case. Something between 60-84hp x 7u with a smaller version of the shared system bus. I really enjoy using smaller cases instead of a big 104hp x 7u.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
what if it’s a pressure points V2 with the brains stuff built in and an updated architecture
what i really want is a new take on reverb or a wavefolder that accepts external signals even though they said they won’t ever make one

I just wanted to pull the trigger for Verbos Mini Horse (but I have objections to it's 10vpp on the outs) now I'll wait till Tuesday - fingers crossed it pressure points MK2

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
I would be quite surprised to see a Pressure Points 2, but I would not at all be surprised to see something quite distinct from Pressure Points that is still built around touch plates.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
Idk, I highly doubt it is a PP v2 .. nothing outdated about it.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
Pressure Points is a great concept but could use a revision to make it actually playable with dry skin -- one of the improvements to Rene v2 was better touch sensitivity. To get PP to switch columns I had to lick my fingers every few seconds, and forget about getting any expressive pressure output from it.
That said, based on the photo and teaser stuff I think we're seeing something different / something more.

Re: Something new from Make Noise coming?
I would be very interested in a stand alone touch controller. Never had too much trouble with pp, but i have clammy hands. I think a 0-coast sized controller that's euro compatible has been a no brainier since they first released the 0c. Surprised it didn't come out sooner in a mini easel arrangement.

I'm excited. I've been reserving excitement over the past few days as they've posted the animations and noticed new and very gorgeous icons. I didn't want to get too excited.
