Need to see more of the file/song structure, and how this interacts more with standalone hardware. The good thing about the matrix resolution, is that short words/numbers can be used for complex UI stuff. How does the user know which CC value is being modulated, same with reset of song pointer position reset to bar 1? Can page chains be saved like the individual pages? How many songs can be saved? File export functions for backup? How many lanes of automation per track?

Can this be used as a four-note polyphonic MIDI-to-CV converter like the qMI2?

No SDcard slot but I suppose that reflects the name - it's a jambox rather than songwriter's tool.

Not even sysex at the moment. Might be added at a later stage according to Jason Hotchkiss.

Jason Hotchkiss will 'take part in the Superbooth 20 Home Edition scheduled to be shown on 24-26 April. Look out for my Noodlebox chat with Nick Batt of SonicState'. The funding campaign will be almost over by then but maybe Noodlebox's capabilities will be a bit clearer at least.

I'm very tempted, just need a bit more info; ideally, the manual. Have to say Jason is doing a good job with the development updates.

I found a preliminary draft of the manual here. Please keep in mind that it's very early days for this device and things might still change. It does look pretty sweet to me though, especially as a hardware platform. Jason confirmed to me that the source code of the firmware will be available, just like it is for all his other devices.

This looks cool! I like the CV.OCD and I also owned an Arpie a while ago. Does anybody know wether one can set the output voltage to 0-5V instead of 8V/10V? And is there and output CV quantizer? I feel like the interface might not be very suitable for very quick, musical fine tuning of running sequences, so a built-in quantizer would be practical.

Reached its funding goal (102%), which is not bad in the present climate.

There's a Sonicstate demo/interview gone up today. It's not the smoothest demo you'll ever see, but they manage to get the main features across

erk ... the Sonicstate thing didn't convince me. I hope it's a case of Dreadbox-itis (definition: the designer makes a good product but is unable to demonstrate it to best advantage).
