For that price, I might get two! Hopefully a little sequencer will be next...

In case anyone else was wondering, if the 0-Coast sees MIDI clock, it auto-routes to the tempo/stepped random generator. There's also a way to disable this, if you'd like. (Source)

Of the new analog gear introduced at NAMM this is the one I'm interested in. That's a nice amount of Make Noise in a slim little box. Not sure why you'd want to rack it since it will just take up space, but hey...

Here's a clearer pic of the panel from Richard Devine's instagram:

I've been thinking about this thing all day. I can't wait to get one.

Does anybody know if it has an audio input? Would be great to feed different oscs into it. Doesn't look like it though..

The two jacks in the upper right corner...one of them might be. I'm usually pretty good at figuring these things out, but Make Noise certainly has a unique way of labeling things. :hihi: But I see an arrow going from the oscillator to one of those jacks, so that might be an audio input to the Dynamics (LPG-ish?) section.

i love the concept, although i feel like lot of us already have these contained within our systems.

Thanks, Jason. Maybe just having access to the dynamics would be kind of ok but I wouldn't mind being able to plug into the overtone generator circuit. There is also an input-like jack on the left with kind of weird pulses on a green background. What does that do? Anyways, we'll find out soon enough.
I've been looking for a little desktop synth that would suit me for a while now, glad I've waited when I see this.

IIRC, that's the output for the stepped random voltage source.

if it is 499 that seems like an amazing deal for someone who hasnt started with eurorack yet or isnt financially ready to plunge for a whole system.

yup, that's me! broke as a joke but dreaming of a west coast voice I could fit in my live rig since I had the glorious experience of messing with an OG music easel. This isn't anywhere near THAT, but I'm still thrilled, and am very likely going to get this as soon as it comes out. If i magically start making more dough from music (or, you know, find a suitcase of money in the street) I can expand into euro proper, but this is pretty much the exact desktop semi-modular non-subtractive synth I've been dreaming of. (it doesn't hurt that it's gorgeous) Can't wait to hear some non-camera recorded demos of the thing.

Seems like a perfect gateway-drug for people on the fence, the way Moogerfoogers and Microkorg were for me.

Definitely has wide appeal, like I could see this being sold at Guitar Center, and
I don't mean that in a bad way; It just makes so much sense to start off with something that can make sound right of the bat at that price,
and then still use it later on with the modular. And of course, lots of other practical reasons to be into a voice module too.

I hope it's a massive success! :tu:

I definitely have all this covered but am still drawn to it. Could be nice for a portable/live setup. I wouldn't really want to lug a modular out but this, some elektron boxes, and a few pedals would be nice.
