Three pieces for flutes and modular synth

Post by MR » Sun Dec 11, 2016 10:00 am

Three pieces featuring various ways of combining my modular synth with improvisations on flutes (mostly bass recorder:
Image).

First one is a tweaked woggle bug (through A-120 filter), and straight acoustic bass recorder:

Second one is a fairly simple self-playing patch to which I improvised on bass recorder. The microphone signal is also delayed, fed into the modular and waveshaped by Piston Honda, A-116 Waveshaper, A-189-1 bit crusher etc.):

Finally a longer, more atmospheric/ambient, piece. Several flutes played through several fx pedals, accompanied by drones from the modular and scraped metal objects:

Hope you enjoy!

Those are really good!
My favourite is the second one.
You should do a physical release. I would definitely buy a copy.

I like it, its a good way to combine synthetic sounds with classic instruments.
