if you compare to say toppobrillo's 281s - 266 boards are 6 times bigger in buchla format, 8 times - in 5U format

i think the price is fair, based on the size of the boards, the variety of formats roman's making, the relatively niche market, and the complexity. i spent a couple days once taking a crack at laying out this project and gave up... was more than happy to pay roman for his efforts. i'm sure he'll wind up making less than kopecs/hour...

If you compare the size and complexity of these 3 PCBs to other offerings on sale here you would see they are in fact quite reasonably priced. And, compare them to CGS Serge PCBs (single sided only!) at $30...

Amen to that. Plus Roman has put in features such as slotted cutouts for jack mounting tabs which would have been expensive to do. A lot of commercial projects just have round holes for tabs which soak up solder and don't hold the jacks in the right position while soldering. I was sceptical of the price myself but for what you get I think these are a bargain.

did you receive the Toppobrillo PCBS and blue Buchla knobs that I sent to you a couple months back?

I'm still waiting for my set of Buchla 266 PCBs. I haven't been on the forum in a while, and haven't given it a lot of thought in some time; But it's been a long time now, and I haven't received any replies to my PMs.

Ken's old stock is single sided, all new ones are double...
all $30 pcb's are licensed from Serge and $10 goes straight to Serge....
but this is old news.....

imo the offered pcb's are a moneygetter and easy way to earn money with company related profits which aren't really SDIY (big mass) orientated.....

Really? With through plated holes as well? I've yet to see any, and I just bought some more PCBs from Ken recently.

could not ship anything last week - was too busy with the main job
tomorrow i travel to the post office and will ship ~30 envelopes with PCBs + 10 parcels with modules

i've published BOMs and schematics for buchla & 5U @ build thread
but please DO NOT start with assembly of EURO until i confirm everything
it should be fine, but i'd like to double check
just a day or two more

going to finish testing EURO today and upload BOMS/SCHEMs then. DO NOT start the assembly of EURO version before that, it has a small but important issue with power, it has to be corrected before you solder anything.
