ORDER THREAD: 266-style PCBs
so, i got the test-pcbs, assembled, tested and now ready to take orders.
there are 3 kits offered:
- 5U format kit - $130
- Buchla format kit - $120
- Euro format kit (24HP) - $110
each kit contains 3 large pbcs - 2 for the components and the 3rd one for holding all the hardware (pots, leds, jacks) - no wiring would be needed.
3rd pcb in 5U and EURO also carries components for voltage shifts, so they are adapted for the cv/power standards.
3rd pcb of 5U is really big, so the price is higher, buchla's is smaller and euro pcbs are the smallest
boards are connected together with 2 ribbon cables
cables and sockets are included
worldwide shipping would be $10 per order, for any amount of kits
the paypal address is in@btwn.us
please DO NOT pm me - use my email for the communication - in@btwn.us
after you make an order - please email me with the description of the order, your full shipping address, you real name and your muffs nickname (if you are on muffs). do not forget to mention the format you want to have.
please title the subject of the email as "266c"
please also make a comment here if you order - it would be easier for me to find you later.
i will set up another detailed Build Thread with boms, drilling templates, links to get rare parts and panel-makers offers.
all technical details are discussed in this thread.
thank you
roman

the full project on mouser is around $90JP wrote:Just to help with peoples (mine) decisions, does anyone have a rough (+/- $100) cost for the components?
+ 5 vactrols (2 dual and 3 single - $9 each @ smallbear)
+ a noise chip ($15)
most of resistor values are generic, but there are some "rare" resistors as well.
+ 0.1% resistors for the voltage shifts
so the total components value is $150-200 depending on
i will share the detailed BOMs at the end of the week

85 capacitors, ~270 resistors, 20 diodes, 3 zeners, 28 ICs, 6 transistorsakrylik wrote:高っ! roman_f wrote:

it would be much cheaper if you have a stock of resistors/caps since they are not cheap if you buy just 1 or 10
expensive transistors (2N1711) can be replaced with 2N3904 AFAIK, since they are used for driving LEDs only

I think I will have to use this project to do a comprehensive restock of my underground electronics laboratory. mwhaha.roman_f wrote:85 capacitors, ~270 resistors, 20 diodes, 3 zeners, 28 ICs, 6 transistorsakrylik wrote:高っ! roman_f wrote:
