tabulaRasa - Hybrid Wavetable Oscillator [ORDER PLACED]
Moderators: Kent, luketeaford, Joe., lisa
Ok I am now in Arduino land, a strange place of code words and binary mushrooms, I expect to see HR puff n Stuff come trotting by.
So I have uploaded some examples and made lights blink and stuff so I'm ready to upload the TabRas Program. is this it "tabulaRasa_Arduino_PWM.pde"????
I have looked around your site and downloaded package and this seems to make sense, but as I mentioned I am in new territory.
Once I have Uploaded, is it as simple as plucking out the 328 in the UNO and popping it in my TabRas?
This is sooooooo Exciting!!! Something totally new. Now I have to make my kids to learn code so that they can teach me
Thanks Greg for your help..
edit: I just noticed you mentioned an .ino file. I'll look around but I didn't see that file type when I was looking before?

Ya Fucking Hoooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Omg I'm so excited!!!!!!!!! Thanks Greg so much. Ye haw!!!!!!!! Just swapped the old 328 and o74 (just incase) with a newly programmed 328 and new 074 and got sound right away. Holy crap! In the 10 seconds I got to play with it before dinner it was makIng some crazy sounds. I know what I'm doing tonight.
Again Greg, thanks so much for guiding me through the arduino stuff. I'll let you know if I can afford a few more of these on your next run.
That one stupid mistake I made fried a lot of things. I will be more carefull when I pull all night soldering parties.

Ok I certainly will. I also forgot to thank samuripizzacat for his behind the scenes help. Nate is a super helpful guy and a fair trader if you should ever have the opportunity to work with him! Thanks to you both. That was officially my biggest fu#k up. The build was easy and straight forward, so anyone looking to build should not be detered.

It will always happen once :-) You really start to like more projects if either anything works from first time OR if it does not work and you get it working:
@raisinbag: I'm also in the process of compiling samples (fairlight original) for this wavetable.
great great thanks to gsurges for bringing this incredible fun and use tool :-)
my next fun tool is to get the 8x8 matrix onto a eurorack panel...

Thanks janvanvolt, that was a PITA. It was a dumb move and could have been avoided easily. But I do tell my kids that the only bad mistake is one that you don't learn from. And look at this, I got the kick in the ass to get an arduino.
I have a snake corral as well and as soon as I get my zarlinks im gona build that up. I'm thinking euro/ frac as well so it will be fun to squeeze that all into one space.
