Remember 'Honey I Shrunk the Kids?'
Seems like every time we run something through the Blacet Time Machine, it ends up coming out smaller!!
stay tuned for more details

Depending on how you tweak the compander circuit you can get different results.

I believe the post is "hinting at" an SMD version in (Euro? 4U?)

Interesting. Which BBD? There's a certain amount of opinion that the low voltage BBDs being made these days kind of suck due to there not being enough of a difference between noise floor and signal. I'm just going by comments I've heard, I am not a doctor.

Cool!
I've never been able to tell the difference between NOS and Xvive in my time machine.
I prefer the original Blacet aesthetic, I think it's a little silly to change it, plus with a 15hp panel the same pcb's could then be built for frac too. But I guess that's a McMansion in euro?

Anybody has been questioning why Moog don't use the Xvive in a new batch MF-104M...?

I’ve not A/B’d them with originals, but the Xvive ICs sound great in the Oakley ADR30 delay I built.

They've discontinued all of the Moogerfoogers.

You apparently have the “Uncle Rico” version, sorry, first thing that I thought of when I read the title of this thread.

Back maybe 10-15 years ago I bought a stash of original MN3005's for things that might come up, when they first started getting scarce. I think it was at the urging of Jurgen Haible. I believe synthcube also has a large stash of them.
