Since I tossed my hat into the ring before there was talk of the plastic case, I figured I'd might as well affirm that I'm still up for the wooden version :guinness:

If it looks as crazy and good as the pics I'll take a stripy acrylic one, otherwise wood is fine :)

Update 4 - 13 October

Still waiting on the imminent arrival of the CNC.

The base is being redesigned and all kits will now come with an 8xAA battery holder that will be easily accessed on the base.

I'm hoping the next update will be a video/photos of the actual kit built. Hopefully by the weekend of 22/23 Oct.

Sorry Crustibooga, removes me from the waiting list. I was too impatient, so i started a DIY case, solid oak. Which is far from finished, but has already begun.
I could not bear to see this synthesizer without carnal envelope, naked in a cardboard box.

So i can not take one of your cases, i have another one under build.

No worries, it's being a long long wait for it all to get together.

Nice to see a Jasper in clothes  Good job! :yay:

This is not finished on the photo, it holds in balance. (This is just a preview) I will cut an oblique flank to the keyboard. Missing lower wooden chopsticks and above the keyboard. And the wood hue.
By against too long to make a DIY case at hand.
I spent more hours on it than on electronic assembly ...

Just to clarify, I'm interested in 1x wood and 1x perspex for now.

I'll be building another 3 Jaspers in the near future, so I'll be ordering another 3, possibly perspex, depending on price...

What length screws will we need to fix from the bottom?

tentatively interested in 3 sets of wood, or maybe 2 wood, 1 perspex.

i might get impatient and do my own though. sorry for the vagueness, i just want to get on the list before it gets any longer.

thank you.

Ooooh, I'd love to get a case without the extra, what?, 4 inches in back where the speaker goes since I have no intention of using mine with a shite speaker (or batteries).

Update 5 - 30 October

At long last the CNC has finally arrived!! :yay: :bananaguitar: Currently I'm setting it up and should take a few days. Then prototype time and hopefully next weekend I'll start manufacturing the parts and will begin taking orders.

I'm working with Altitude and AFX to accommodate their midi board, so will probably need to know at the time of ordering if this is required.

Hi Crooked, good idea, maybe I could do this as an option as I'm sure there'll be others who are thinking along these lines.

Whilst I get the first batch cut I'll sort out a drawing for this.
