The information is leaving me wondering - what is being the status of shipping ?
In general, of course. And I do more than appreciate to receive a pm on the status of mine, too.

Sorry the delay in responses.

Steve was working to make sure the cases work out of the box with very little effort to the end user installing their TTSH's... He's been sending them out this last week as they get finished. So he's been sending out notifications
as they are shipping.

Thank you for your patience!

They are being shipped out. If yours shipped you will have gotten an email with your tracking number. I will check with Steve so see where yours is at.

I ordered this back in March of 2016 - could someone tell me where mine is in the process? I sent a couple of private emails first but no response on those so posting here just in case the emails are hitting a spam filter or if I have been sending them to the wrong destination.

I'm un-sure why these haven't shipped yet... Steve told me they were ready and shipping. I will double check with him. I'm really sorry for the delay>

It looks like a few were missed. I did send an email to Steve and heard back from him a couple weeks ago. He apologized for the delay, acknowledged the mistake after looking through shipping records, and said he'd get started on that.

I'm sure he's pretty busy, so I understand how things can get overlooked. : )

Thanks for the heads up, got my fedex tracking info from Steve so things are looking up. No worries about the delay.

I received the case today - package was well protected but the case top does not really fit the case flush and has some spots where the wood is bare.

I really appreciate the effort that goes into these projects, but the case I received seems to have some issues. Not sure who to email so posting here.

How can I get a replacement?

Hey Low-Gain and Krok, could you contact me privately and give me the contact information for Steve? I would like to resolve this without resorting to using the forum.

Are you going to be making more of these due to the PCB/panel production being revived? If so, I'm in.

kipervarg PM sent.

I got my case last week and it looks great! Although I just noticed that it's missing one screw for a latch on the bottom, but that's not a big deal and I can easily fix that.

Any chance there will be another run of these cases with the announcement of V4 of the TTSH?

New ARP 2600 style cases for v4 will be available this month

Post by ScottMcCandliss » Wed Sep 04, 2019 3:33 pm

Hi,

As the long awaited TTSH v4 is arriving within a few weeks

I'm building 2600 style cases for those who want to keep the DIY mainly to electronics.

I am not taking orders. They are listed on 3 sites, synthCube, ebay, and reverb, when they are ready to be sold. If there's interest, I can announce on this thread when new batches are listed.

The exclusive seller of the v4 has the first 20, but supply should be better after those are filled. My deal with them is that I can list them on ebay and reverb, but nowhere else.

Apparently since I've only lurked on this site, I'm not allowed to post pics until I have had two posts approved. However, I can tell you that from those pics, the only way you can tell that you're not looking at an actual ARP 2600 case is that there is a round shiny recessed hole for the power DC power connector corresponding to the AC mains jack on the ARP 2600, and two nickel plate MIDI jacks on the other side with flush-fitting mounting screws. Oh, and located inside the lid is a vinyl snap-in removable pouch to hold the power pack.

Holes for a 9 1/2" reverb tank are predrilled on the bottom of the inner tray. Reverb can either be mounted with T-nuts that are hidden when case is assembled, or an *optional* snap-in reverb pouch with corrugated-cardboard/oak strip base.

All case hardware is identical to original ARP 2600... not merely similar... identical... all of it.

As I mentioned, I apparently have to have at least two posts approved before I can post pics, but stay tuned.
