ehhh try Babelfish and some additional fantasy for understanding? :P
the Dutch file contains info about the MS20 VCF plus the LPF & HPF mode, IIRC...

Will you update us with your progress?

yeah, google translate seems to be working well for me. i'm surrounded by many people who know a lot more than I do about analog technology, so i should be okay. i'll definitely let you know how it goes... should be a fun and very challenging project! thanks for the help so far!! :bacon:

Sorry i didn't answer earlier.... This project became a long term project. Currently i wait for the best of CGS panels for finishing 2 BOGs & MARSHs.

If there are any questions don't hestitate to ask. There is lot of knowledge available through Muff's ....

I'm also still interested.
X911 in the house too!

Maybe we should go bit by bit.
Who ever gets a modular portion to work under external CV could post schematics and pics documenting the wiring.

The biggest projects become approachable when divided into smaller mini tasks..

My 2 cents

I have an X911 so would like to tag along with this thread even though it seems to be dormant.

HI everybody,

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find the famous Erick G schematics on that thread, all the links are dead.
Is it possible for someone to repost them ? I would be most gratefull !

I own two of these things and I really like it, I most often use it as an expander controlled by a kenton pro4 and as I've been offered another one a few days ago I decided to use it with the guitar but both of them seems to have triggering issues. One triggers really lately and the other triggers even if the guitar isn't plugged...
There might be something faulty somewhere.

Thanks a lot for your interest on my problems.

I also have two, and one of them is broken and I might consider selling or trading for interesting synth-stuff if someone wants to get down and dirty with a MS-911 without sacrificing a working 911!
I do get sound from it but it is weak and all funktions does not work, power issue?

looking for about 200Euro + shipping from Sweden.

i'm fixing one x911. now it;s almost fully working. i dont know what can be the reason of this but when i move portamento knob up the pitch goes down and stays at same low level. when i turn knob back to 0 pitch is fine. also... found this one on the net

i'm trying to do this mod but it;s not working. btw pin 5 is actually 4 and pin 1 is pin 8. so how the hell should I connect this?

bumping this old thread as I can't get good quality schematics anywhere. I've got the scans that have hand written notes (that are helpful) on them, but the resolution is pretty low.

ps. any tips on how to restore one of these would be good. my signal gets in fine, and from following the circuit and probing it, the distortion circuit, and filter circuit is fine, but what is wrong is the Pitch-to Voltage component and possibly the VCA - as the sound disappears right before the output jack
