What is the device? Is it a synth or a stereo pedal? If it is a desktop synth, you probably don't need anything. Many pedals don't require anything either.

What is/are it/they?

I heartily second the Black Locust for your mono FX send/return needs, but it is not stereo, so you'd have to use all four channels to get your Timeline and BigSky working, and they would not be stereo linked.

Those Strymon pedals do accept line level signals* so you might be able to get away with sending directly into them... it's worth a try at least. If you're looking for a stereo send-return solution, the Strymon AA.1 (https://www.modulargrid.net/e/strymon-aa-1) will do that--and nothing else--in 4HP, and two of them are cheaper than one Black Locust.

For the Lyra-8, it looks like you might be better off with just a preamp type module? (e.g. https://www.modulargrid.net/e/circuit-abbey-gozinta) Unless you're also wanting to send audio into it, in which case you would also need an output module or a send-return type solution. (e.g. https://www.modulargrid.net/e/malekko-h ... ry-snd-rtn)

You mentioned that the Lyra-8 is "low"--how are you connecting it currently? TS cable? TRS? What module(s) have you tried to plug it into? Any VCAs with higher than unity gain?

*Line level is not the same as eurorack level.
