Should the latter be the case, then I will be more than happy to provide my Subharmonicon for reference in cloning this magnificent beast
cool petition but I feel like this might be unnecessarily aggressive considering you’re asking them for something

Or just send the petition straight to Behringer.

And maybe leave out the 1950s Nuvo modern color schemes.

I don't know what's a Subharmonicon but aren't there enough products already without having to make a petition for the creation of another one? :hmm:

It seems like a couple or few frequency dividers and mixers would get you in the territory of what is unique about the subharmonicon unless I am missing something.
If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there.

Seconding this. It makes it sound more like an ultimatum than a petition by a fan.

I have two Mother 32s and a DFAM and would be super unlikely to buy this.

It's a cool design, but I would be much more interested in a 60hp drone/utility setup. Something a little bit like a benjolin, a matrix mixer, and maths.

I sure would like to buy a subharmonicon, but this petition is too pushy and too illiterate. I will not sign it.

it contains a threat. I think most people would not sign such a thing.

Those are fair points, but I suspect the Moog people will get that the OP is kidding and take the petition for what it is: a basic crowd-sourced interest survey.

I signed it with no more thought than, "I'd like to buy a Subharmonicon."

This reads like someone’s term paper proposal for their Business Studies course. “Exploring crowdsourced demand generation in a post-reality synthesizer demo video economy.”

I like that. 'The Crowd Source Demand Generation' or 'Generation CSD'. You'd think they were short of food or something. :hihi:

Sorry, camping at the moment :guinness: :guinness:

Signed.

Not holding my breath though, seems we would have seen these in the wild long ago if it was ever going to happen.

Here is to wishing.

I remember reading somewhere that it wasn't cost effective to do a production run of this synth. Given the size of Moog (70 people) and that everything is built in Asheville, I suspect overall production capacity is an issue as well.

I've signed the petition but a cool option might be to release it as a kit if they're worried about production costs.

Late to the party. I agree that the tone in which the petition is written comes of as a bit brash. I ignored it and signed it anyway as I am also in the boat of wanting one of these puppies.

If build cost is an issue, I'd be happy to pick one up as a kit as well!
