In short: Yes. Black panels only.

We will be selling them through our website. Hoping to have the system online in a few weeks, but may take longer.

Metron Firmware V1.3 is now out. There are a number of bug fixes and V1.3 is required for use with Voltera.

Download Metron V1.3 Firmware Here

The Metron manual has been updated with Voltera features and rundown as well: Metron V1.3 PDF Manual

There is a quickstart guide for Voltera as well

Alert: this link leads to a PDF that says User Manual v1.1 in big letters on the front. It does have the Voltera section, though.

Interesting to see that Voltera really its own self-contained sequencer, not just a dummy utterly reliant on Metron itself.

Hahaha, yeah we forgot to update the front page. That'll probably happen when we're back from the holiday break.

There was mention of an expanded for slew functions. What about a MIDI output expander? I’m not sure exactly how useful that might be, but it could be an interesting option.

If you're talking about taking a 16 step pattern, then moving to page 4 and holding DUPL and TRACK X and then hitting PTN LENGTH to get a 64 step pattern, that still works. Not really sure what the change log sentence means, though :hmm:

A couple questions about Voltera that I didn't see in the demo vids or manual:

- Is there a way to record voltages from a Metron CV In?
- Can you slew voltages from step to step on Voltera?

Why did you not START with three? :D

I’m taking my time to learn Metron first (should be arriving on Monday), then adding 2 to start, one from drum modulation and the other for voice sequencing/modulation.

lol. right?

well, i have 2 now (one on each side of Metron), and it's not for lack of desire. it's for not having room unless i kick something. we'll see!

boof. the best part of Metron/Volteras is how easy it is to learn. super powerful, but crazy intuition and well designed UI.

That’s what I want to hear! I’m pretty sure I’m going to have at least 6 Volteras, if not more. My cases are 150 HP wide, so I’ve got plenty of space. :)

moof. wellllllllllllll.... ordered another pair. i keep running out of outs with even smaller patches. they are just so damn FUN to program with.

question - it looks like if i record a CV pattern, then when it loops or i record again, it adds to the pattern that is present? which is really cool and useful, it's great to keep it the same, wait till a spot, then do a wiggle for a change.

but maybe when in record, if you hold Select, then when you are rewriting the current knob value the entire time the Select is held during the recording?

like if the pattern recorded is C . . . D . . . E . . . F . . .

waiting till the D, holding Select, and moving to a G, holding Select until a beat before the C on the next loop would change it to....

C . . . G . . . . . . . . . . .

?

does that make sense?

This absolutely makes sense and is already on the ideas list waiting for someone like you to bump it's priority up!

Glide without using a separate gate track and external slew module be ideal :)

also, some times i can't adjust the first step off a page for Voltera. like, if i enter a C1 then want to change it, i have to clear the pattern to be able to enter a different value.

i'm trying to hold down the first step then wiggle the relevant Voltera to change data.
