Depends but most of the time it's either the one of various sequencers, Doepfer A143-1, A-149 or Triple Sloth.

If ever I get my Omnimod I expect that may become my mod source of choice.
I'm looking for nothing at this moment in time

My Main Modulator is ADE 32 S&H sync slaved by Impulse MD
and i'm starting to feed a Mono Quadrature Dr.Octature by URA

Batumi and Sloths has been, but as a recently new owner of the Voltage Block and Just Friends, I can see these being used far more than Sloths.

Since I'm a guitar player who uses pitch to MIDI in order to trigger synthesizer modules and uses guitar into HRM based modeling synthesizers, I would have to say that the guitar itself is the most expressive modulator out there.

The Guitar does FM (note selection) modulation, velocity dynamic modulation (how hard the note is picked), pitch modulation (string bends) and envelope generator (note duration control) all initiated through the guitar playing technique itself.

Also in the case of HRM Tech or the old Roland gr 300 analog synth or routing the input of a guitar signal through a synthesizer module filter, the guitar string serves as the oscillator.

So I guess I'm saying that a human is the most important modulation source. Wait what's the question again? :bananaguitar:

me too, seriously need a second one, amazing how quickly those 8 outputs gets used up. The centerpiece to my work flow.
