I think it sounds great, based on the videos I've seen.

Love the TT Fold Processor! I bought it to spice up my E340 cloud generator, and it’s been great. The sub out section is really cool, and I’ve found it great for trashing up drums. Cool module with lots of potential.

Same here. I really love mine. I use it in nearly every patch.

I hear that it’s good. 8-) Thanks!
909, manic trilling courtesy of Make Noise René and DPO, wavetable bass by Disting and some soft melodies by the Korg Minilogue. I mainly sat and watched it all unfold.

I'm curious why this module has such a low rating on Modulargrid since it seems like people like it on here? Anyone having any issues with it?

A lot of Tiptop's recently released modules have strange ratings on Modulargrid: https://www.modulargrid.net/e/modules/b ... ection=asc'

I suspect someone with a beef is creating dummy accounts to downvote them.

Yeah that makes sense. That's the downside of open sourced ratings I suppose.

Or maybe people just don't like it. Or both. To me, it sounds a bit brash and "effect-y" rather than musical, like it was made as something "weird" for traditionalists rather than a building block.

I use it on clean samples of piano or guitar
and run them through the high pass filter and
mix them in with the original sample.

Anybody any suggestions were I can have a new panel made for the fold processor? I love the sound and character of the fold but that ugly white panel with green & yellow jacks + white knobs is hideous. Looks like Fischer Price.

+1 on this, anybody making them? Not a fan of the aesthetic, but do enjoy the sound.

Im just about to get one. Cant decide between fold and ultrafold...
Ive got the feeling the ultra sounds more fm, has less sweetspots but a very characterful musical sound.
While the tt fold seems to be a good allrounder, can handle all kinds of input and has the subs out. :hmm:
