I am very curious. So yeah, if you could have any modular system consisting only of modules from 1 brand - same format, what would it be? :hmm:

Based on functionality, Doepfer. It's all there.

Based on aesthetic qualities, definitely Intellijel. Add one of their cases and

MakeNoise - Harvestman (old stuff) not too many modules on the IME roster yet but Im watching closely!

LOTS of ground covered by those two so it really would be a toss up. Were f(h) to do a full series/system they would be in the hat too! I'd probably want 3 LC9s with one dedicated to each!

(Assuming there was no HP limit) then Doepfer. Bonus points for being predominantly through hole for easier maintenance and modification.

Doepfer for sure.

Really digging my A-171-2s, and the new VCO's look rad.

I'm actually planning out an Intellijel-only system right now, their factory is only an hour or so away. So, for me, definitely Intellijel.

Cwejman or Intellijel or Mutable Instruments or WMD/SSF or the Harvestman or...

Really any of the more comprehensive bands are more than capable of producing instruments in themselves.

Ditto. I'd still need a few more things, random, slew, more sequencing, but I'd be very happy with just 'jel. :zen: :intellijel:
Current system:

FS/T: Modules/Google Case/Grayscale Panels.

Make Noise System Concrète+System Cartesian

I mean, if I had to choose prebuilt single manf. systems.

I'm surprised at the number of Doepfer responses! I expected to see tons of people saying Cwejman or Intellijel...And with Mutable coming out with more utility modules I feel like you could cover a lot of ground there too.

I think it would be pretty sweet to have an all Cwejman system. I think, for now, that's my vote.

Dotcom. 44 MUs will do well. 66MUs is crazy good.

Moog. The inverse clone of Dotcom. $$$$$$$ but it's the real deal.

Buchla. $$$$$ but also the real deal.

Make Noise for Rene and Pressure Points - I could live with the rest of the options they have.

An Erica Synths system could also be quite awesome.

Sputnik seems like a better option all the time, especially if spectral processing options become available:

I'd wanted a Doepfer system since I was still in high-school.
Even now, it's probably the only manufacturer I can think of that covers every base in terms of functionality.
