You can pre-order at different places, including Control.

yeah, I'm not big on pre-ordering. I'm big-league into just drinking too much coffee and then going into Control and talking too fast.
Then walking out that day with something.
This may bite me in the ass because I really want the Synth Tech greatest hits.

The Dave Jones Design web site now says:

"The second run is estimated to ship to dealers around early December 2016."

Control still shows October/November.

Standing by patiently for mine. 8-)

Registered for Pre-order notification from Control earlier this fall. Today got automatic email that said: "GOOD NEWS! O'Tool Plus (Pre-Order) is now back In Stock or available for Pre-Order." :cloud:

update: Control now accepting orders

Control's website now reports ETA is December 14th. I was able to add one to my cart without issue, too. I didn't complete the order because I placed a pre-order when Control opened it up in late August. I've been waiting patiently ever since... well, perhaps not so patiently.

This was a massive run, so took a long time. They're all built and tested. More than half are boxed up. They started shipping to US dealers today and international ones tomorrow, though it's probably going to take a week to get them all out to all the dealers, so please be patient. There should be plenty for everybody that has been waiting.

We have them going to 10 US dealers and 17 international dealers. I'm still contacting the international ones, so not all of them even know yet that they are done.

Several hundred O'Tools shipped out this week to US dealers. I'm still getting in touch with all the overseas dealers, but we've started shipping to them and several hundred more will ship overseas next week.

Hi Dave, quick question I have here:
For some reason I have tried my O'Tools+ with an Arturia MiniBrute and all waveshapes are displayed perfectly in Scope Mode, but when in Frequency/Tuner mode the O'Tools+ doesn't seem to react with the saw or square waves, only with the sine or triangle wave. As if square and saw were silent...
Any idea what could cause this to happen ?

I only have the original version, but my guess would be the synth doesn't have enough gain to drive those modes. :hmm:

With pre-orders, no money is required until the product is ready to ship from Clock Face. Still waiting for the word. Next week?

You're correct, and though my pre-order is officially logged and my payment information has been taken, I don't believe they'll be taking any money until they're ready to ship.

This is to say, you can put the O'Tool Plus in your cart as a preorder, where as up until recently it's been a case of "send me an email when preorders are being taken."

those 2 waveforms are indeed slightly under 1V of amplitude when the 2 other are slightly over 1V, all at maximum output volume. If that's the reason it could be interesting to increase the sensitivity of the input reading for that purpose. Would that be possible Dave ?
