Post by Axiom Crux » Mon Nov 16, 2015 6:50 pm

Update April 24:
the production prototype PCB is ordered and will arrive in 2 weeks
I should be able to make the firmware updates for the new screen and test all the new tweaks to make sure its good to go in 2 weeks
then final production begins and as soon as units are packed and ready to ship we will be delivering to preorders ASAP.

New render with the updated screen design:

That seems like some pretty low mA (25 mA +12V, 10 mA -12V) for a digital module... Does the OLED have to do with that? Or is it just magic?

^I was wondering about that, too. Seems too good to be true! :guinness:

EDIT: too slow. I was commenting on the power specs. Slick video, though!

lovely, I'm all over this!!

just realised I'm going to want a whole row of omnimods. game changer!! (did I just say that!?) :sb: :sb: :sb:

the only thing that could make this better is a 2x larger OLED screen but hey I'm not complaining.

Yeah!!!
Is the limited preorder only for the first run or is this going to be a limited release ?
Also, as others have asked about the power consumption listed, is this a mistake?

I haven't bought a module in a looong time, i've been waiting for the quad lfo to get restocked but this does look perfect.

Based on the power consumption being correct, the promise of an early 2016 release and the pure awesomeness of this, i've pre-ordered!

Just ordered my second one. I think Richard's quote of a Modcan Quad LFO rings true. Lots of modulation possibilities with 2 units and a storage strip!

limited to ~100 preorder and then we will release more as per demand.

I checked the current consumption the other day and I couldn't believe the multimeter myself.. oled magic.

once upon a time I did a few releases under that name, including planet mu. always surprised when someone actually has heard them :P maybe when I get a few more modules out I will get some time to write tunes again.
