There is a plugin for showing the last 20 posts on the frontpage ... https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... t_topics_2

Hope it can be added, because I've always used the forum from that list. So right no I feel a bit lost :-(

But happy that the forum took a leap forward !

Thank you! The new forum software is great, very fast now. And on mobile devices the user experience is much better now.

Thanks again ;)

Awesome! Nice work Rob. Forum looking nice and spiffy, even with a dark mode option, although we need a dark mode header image to go with.

User control panel > Board preferences > Edit global settings > My board style > Choose Prosilver (dark edition)

Thanks Rob - it's good to be on a platform that hopefully works properly now!

Everyone, this was a surprise for a majority of the admin/moderator team too so please give us a little time to find our feet with the new software and get things back to normal.

A reminder that if you're having any account related or other similar issues please keep using the support email - details in the link below. It's the quickest way for such things to be sorted out.

Well done Rob - great job. I've done a few forum migrations myself and it was, um, interesting.
This is almost revolutionary! Here's to 2020.
Now, where are those MW emoticons...

Thanks Rob,
staying within phpBB was the most reasonable thing to do.
I don't care for "themes" but bringing back some of the old functionality would be great (Goos and last posts, etc.).
Only if it does not compromise future updates, of course.

Important thing would be to fix the core functionality: currently the search seams to return only few results.

It would be great if you could also bring back the "All" button that used to be following the 1, 2, 3,... pages buttons. It allowed to have all the posts of a thread visible in one single long page...

Thanks for this. The site looks great.

(I second rigo's comment about "latest posts". That and my bookmarks are my first stops when visiting Muffs.)

ooooh, so that's what was happening.
I've been trying all kinds of things over the weekend and was about to reset my router to see
if that would get me access again. So it wasn't just me. well, that's a relief, I actually wondered
if I got banned because I mentioned I finally made it to 50 posts,. and now I am back to 48, or 49
including this one I guess (cries in banana).

anyway, thants for keeping it alive!

Thanks for all the work that went into this!

One thing I miss from the old look is the visual divider between sticky topics and the rest. It made it easy to quickly see the most recent topics.

Ravaio looks to me the more modern theme based on the assets. The poster’s username also appears to the left of the post, which is the standard convention for most things these days.
