By how many millimetres are the Intellijel tiles smaller? 5mm?

And do we know for sure if Intellijel will be selling 1U modules separately? If they're only available with their case, there would be little need/demand for alternate panels.

The main issue is that Windows is not compatible with USB Audio 2 (re: class compliance). That's a bit inaccurate. Windows can work with USB Audio Class 2 just fine, but it doesn't have generic class drivers, so K-mix would have to install its own. Presumably the cost of licensing/outsourcing for d...

Have you considered the Roland Aira Torcido? It sells for $300, and it's stereo, although I think you'd need to have 1/4" to 1/8" jack adapter cables.

In terms of processing power and memory, not a lot, nothing on those kinds of machines that couldn't be done on an old laptop really. Power isn't the setback to reaching equivalency, configuration is. Those dedicated machines work in fixed ways with specific workflows in mind. Individual functions a...

So... Am I the only one who thinks that's superexpensive for a small case with some basic modules included? Well, it's not cheap, but you might be underestimating the value of the included modules. Do a cost comparison against modules with the same functionality (external input amp, USB switch, LFO...

Once you do that, when you hit play, it'll start recording an...

Did you mean Audio Damage's Basic rather than something by Audio Thing? If the latter, I don't think they are working on a polyphonic version at the moment, seems like they have their hands pretty full with other stuff. Have you tried Fabfilter's Twin 2? It has a fancier/more complicated interface, ...

There are probably others, Ring Thing I would assume since EHX has pitch tracking on other pedals, or maybe the Pigtronix Mothership? Another option is somethin...

or can you get away with 1 idea One idea is a kind of form. Perhaps not enough of one for hardcore formalists, but rigidity tends to be their virtue. Boredom, at least in the going nowhere/doing nothing sense, is undervalued as a musical goal, so often treated as pejorative. I find there is a lot t...
