Thank you all for the help. It appears that there should be no issues connecting my Arp with the Euro setup. I just wanted to make sure I don't blow any modules out when connecting.

As always, I appreciate the kind feedback.

Cheers,

Thank you Thighpaulsandra. That's pretty much what I'm looking for. If anyone else has any other tips, please feel free to add them.

Awesome

Thanks for the tips. Sounds cool. However, I was asking more on a compatability level. Does the Arp 2600 have the same voltage scale as other Euro Module Manufacturers? (ie - Doepfer, Livewire, etc.) For example, does the 1V/Octave from my doepfer midi to cv converter apply to my 2600?

Arp 2600 integration with Euro Rack Setup

Hey All, I know this is probably a SUPER EASY question, but is there any integration issues between an Arp 2600 and my Euro Rack Setup? Are there any voltage or impedence differences? (don't even know if that's possible) I remember there being a webpage that showed the different specs for each manuf...

need more info.

We need more info. What kind of music are you doing? What kind of budget? Do you need to save patches? (harder to do with modular) What kind of sounds are you looking for? I have a rack mount minimoog voyager and a Euro rig. I love them both. However, I usually spend ALOT more time with my euro rack...

Arp Tank

I have an Arp 2600 and that Reverb Tank is AWESOME. I don't exactly know what tank is inside it, but it definitely has it's own character. I'll try and post some of those samples soon as well.

okay???

Hey, how were the samples? Okay???

Would anyone like other samples through the tanks? Any ideas on what patches to run through them?

Also, some people have asked about Accutronics. Just google them. They have dealer links. I think I paid about $25-$30 for the Type 9 tank.

Spring Reverb Comparison (Doepfer Vs. Accutronics)

Ahoy! Since Spring is nearly upon us, I figured it was time to post a couple of audio files that compare the Doepfer A-199 Spring Reverb Tank with the Accutronics Type 9 Reverb Tank. Both Tanks are run on the Doepfer A-199 module. :hihi: I happen to like the sound of the Accutronics better, but I th...
