i have the old school and what i like is how distinct the sound can be and great the drone tones can be and how well it fits in with almost any other instrument. its quite precise as well compared to my 2600 its way more stable and calibrated but then those are things i like about my other vintage i...

for what its worth i think it looks alot sharper with the wood, i guess it would depend if i needed to travel with it. having some buchla in there would be cool to, i wish i was making these executive decisions! nice system either way, i cant wait to try out a serge synth.

It seems some concerns are getting these as close to originanal as possible and even trying to include as much NOS as can be acquired from what I've seen I'd rather have an arp clone than the real thing. Same goes to verbos you really get a lot passion and high standards if your lucky enough to go t...

yeah i hate to say it but given those examples id have to send it back to. it seems quite janky for a $4,000.00 insturment to have switches and led's forced into place. maybe this one was an exception but at the rate these are going out the door you'd think they'd want to have people drooling over b...

do you have any pics that show what your talking about? seems like you should be able to add some plastic washers to shore everything up, or just get a custom set of standoffs that make it all right. i wonder if buchla will offer some aftermarket fix for this?

i started with the basic system as well, and also added a few of the talked about modules of the day, these have since changed, but doepfer is still amazing and they never get as much appreciation as they should for having some of the best modules on the market and the price point is insanely fair a...

i really dig the look of your plan as is, i hope it stays the same. i love modules that have a roomy feel and this looks like it would be a joy to patch. it has that 5u look, i wish euro rack was a bit more vanilla like 5u i dont mean vanilla boring but 5u just has a coherent feel about it. ill put ...

is there any info on the signal flow of this synth? id like to try to put together some modules that would come close to recreating some of the sounds. from the panel it looks like it has several noise choices and some kind of divide down for the oscilators. not sure what kind of filter it has or if...

i use to go to these barter fairs in the northern panhandle of idaho and it was during the late 80's that i ran into this guy who had a huge school bus with two micro busses attached to the top of an already large full size bus. of course it was painted with great artwork all over it. well at about ...
