Congrats, Vcoadsr! As I mentioned before, this one is exactly like my starter system from 2010 (?). Very well composed, with a large number of sound sources, shapings, filter+LPG, the wonderful VCA/Drive, and the completely fantastic PT Delay. Enjoy!

Great development. The frames are great, but people will still alter them, expand them, etc. I guess we are soon back to how it was 10 years ago :) Which wasn't too bad at all. As long as it is a sustainable situation for yourself, Tom!

I have a DJ backpack which fits my 2x16FW system nicely (or 2x11FW + some other machines), with generous padding and room for plenty of extras (laptop, PSU, cables). It's one of the Magma backpacks, a taller version. Lot's of good cases in the DJ world, that fits desktop modulars. For 2x11FW shallow...

Looks like a great new module. Just a comment - for the few of us who are into bananfrac, the new ones with panel-mounted jacks are much harder to bananafy. Older Blacet was really easy, and I have several frames of them. Still, I understand the economic argument. Wiring jacks and pots is a pain. I ...

I had gathered a lot of yellow over the years, but none of the pedals. Preparing for a project, about half a year ago I started to acquire some, and through some luck I found most of what I wanted, also at not too steep prices. Here's my yellow pedal collection now, including a couple of stereo pair...

:D I got that. But personally I love ethereal screeches. Those were nice, of the H.P. Lovecraft horror-variety! Btw, I just realized I got my first Metasonix (a Wretch) in May, 10 years ago! After an unsuccessfull attempt at getting a TM-1/TM-3/TM-6 combo in Europe two years earlier. So, I'll have a...

Then wait till you try it with the expander - or a pair of them! Here's an old pic of my little perc setup (slightly different upper row nowadays): https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/userpix2/4799_20140612_011944_analog_rhythm_1.jpg The most amazing thing, imho, is the complexity of the triggering (4...

To me it makes a huge difference with VC resonance. I mostly work with either generative or gestural control of everything, i.e., no knob turning during play, and then another CV input really means something for the possibilities. So, if possible, I'd like to encourage you to try to squeeze in that ...

Thanks for sharing, batchas. Wonderful. I'm a few years younger (but not many). Still, Tuxedomoon, Kraftwerk, SPK, listened a lot to those. Did not have so many chances to see them live, though (few came to Sweden, or a was too young) but still have lots of vinyl. Funny thing is that, just like you,...

It's hard to play it in a meaningful way, but I'm glad it is open, because you can affect the resonance characteristics by inserting objects (pieces of paper, felt, etc.) in the springs or between them. I've done that to achieve a shorter decay time a few times, for example.
