The SP-16 is purely sample based but has a sound that destroys the competition.... and is very easy to use thanks to its generously large format , touch screen with great GUI and almost no button combos. A bit dumb in the editing department but sounds both fat and hi-fi. A modern classic that will b...

The RE-303 is cool but a real 303 isn't THAT much more these days so if a 303 is what you want, why not just get one?
TB-303s currently go for around £2k. Must be people trying to pay for rehab... and those that buy them are still hitting the crack pipe.

Wouldn't an analog groovebox with good sound be awesome ... A TT303 and 606 in one box, with digital fx.... will somebody please sort this out:hihi:

The Roland MC101 is probably the best option if you need a battery powered box.

I assume they were discontinued because of licensing issues - the SC4 is basically a MIDI Metropolis which might not have been to the liking of either Intellijel or RYK... Wut? It is a shame it was discontinued.. I emailed the guy a few months ago and he said he's working on a successor ...

First thing you should do is reset all the knobs " because like most other youtubers I assume you have never used a synth before"... aaanyway. This sounds less angry than I remember the OG MS-20 sounded, and more musical/ sweet. Definitely very nice but I really don't think it sounds bigger. More c...

Thanks. I decided the touch screens aren't going to be good enough given the comments on the Presonus forum so I ordered an XP-Pen Pro 22E tablet display.... it was on sale at 20% off so I thought it's worth trying. Yeah, it's going to sit at a low angle on the desk in front of me and will be at least a 22-inch screen. I found a couple of threads on the Presonus forums and the main issue is this: * Right-Clicking on something requires you to hold your finger on something for close to 1 second. Touch Display vs Pen Tablet Display for DAW use

I've been looking at Bitwig and Studio One, both of which seem excellent for my exacting needs, and both of which support touch screens. :hyper: However, I'm dubious abut the accuracy of finger touch for DAW use as there are a lot of tiny buttons to click on... so I've been thinking about a pen tabl...

Some step sequencers let you input repeats on every step so you could have a step length of 1/4 and a bunch of 1/32s on a step, etc.
