I am a firm believer in the old saying "always run tape" (record everything because you never know). this is very true, and I find a half-decent VHS deck does an OK job for the $$. most of the time I record through a mixer to hard disk. with Live as my wave recording app and MIDI clock, syncing sub...

I gots th' lfo blues

dual modcan 46Bs modulated by a complex lfo from the 61B. the lfo modulates both filters and triggers the vca envelope for the 1st 46. pitchbending on the 1st 46 via the fine tune pot. http://share.ovi.com/media/AnalogNoiseMonster.public/AnalogNoiseMonster.10015 still getting to know all of the diff...

yes that's true with me as well, but I fail to see what it has to do with organizing my modular synth?

really though, wouldn't it take a 'special' person to organize a synth that way?
pot access is king for me. that combined with cable droop results in all my jack-heavy modules grouped together.
touchy-feely modules get prime top-tier real estate.

i think it looks great the way it is. and besides, it's 6 lfos with LEDs, plus a glide and level - i don't think it'll be hard to operate in the dark, especially since the glide and level are smaller than the lfo pots.
very nice job! :sb:

I agree, but it is the unfortunate world we live in with multiple standards. We should all learn to use the metric system or just give it up... does that mean I should be buying 30.5mm cables :hihi: oops, that joke might have been funny if I had referenced the correct dimention. are 1/4" equi...

wave sequencing with modcan 60&61

I was having a hard time finding a practical application for the delay stage on the modcan 60 6-stage quad EG until I started messing with the rotate feature on the 61 for wave sequencing. by adding (pre)delay to the VCA EGs on steps 2-4, interesting intervals are created.

These are so expensive and scattered across different brands and form factors that no one (it would seem) owns several of them to give a comparison between brands. Cheers Phil You're right about the price. The 39B is the single most expensive module in my cabinet. I still love it though. That big-a...
