Not quite a VCO, but in the sheet mode with the decay all the way up you do get some long tones that are VCO like. Of course, you could just use the input which might get you where you want to go.

... I admit it's not very complex and typical of eurorack to depend on other modules to accomplish something. However, CV control over feedback is a pretty standard feature in Eurorack delay modules. This solution invokes more complexity than other options. I can also see that not having the CV inp...

Will it have voltage control over the feedback? No, but you can use external feedback in, tap outputs and any VCA to voltage control feedback. Glad to see there's an option for this, but it still seems a little complicated. CV/expression pedal control over feedback is one my favorite things on guit...

I am trying to clock the Metron using SYNC24, and it goes crazy fast at 120 BPM. I am going from Ableton MIDI out to a Kenton MIDI/DIN SYNC converter. What PPQN does EXT expect? 4 PPQN in and Clock out is 4 PPQN, as well. Thanks. I pulled out my Doepfer A-160-2, so there is a work around, but I wis...

after powering up, my presets don't seem to recall the position of the pitch cv attenuverters, it just maxes them out in the negative direction, i am on firmware 1.1 I have noticed this, as well. If I start up on a pitch preset or load it, the bottom of the main vco range is is not c0. I’ve also no...

The main question I have currently is, what position on the spread knobs aligns with the main frequency? Also, is the range of the stereo resonance knob larger than the A or B res knobs? (Similar to the frequency knobs.)

I was sold. And then I realized that there was an Input for an external exciter and I was even more sold. I could even see myself getting two of these. Not that you couldn't modulate in the correct way to get a crash and a ride, but having two simultaneously would make for some nice textures.

Just got one in the mail today. First impressions are that I'm very impressed by the utility available and that it can sound very clean or can add some nice character with the drive. The "Dipole" on either side is really nice for all of those situations where I want to run something through two filt...

Jeez. When I posted it, it was $20. Most likely any of the ones on amazon will work. Just make sure you buy one with the 6 pin cable included.

I bought a $20 one off amazon and it worked just fine with both Hertz Donut and Piston Honda 3's.

The best thing has really been to sit in front of it with the manual and just go through the motions. The button combos are pretty easy and simple, but there’s a lot of them. This thing is going to be amazing once I get the muscle memory!

The depth of sound in this is awesome. I used it for a performance a couple days after I got it and it just made everything sound HUGE. I put one flat on the table in front of me and then the other one on a guitar stand behind it. It requires a table of some depth, but it works nicely live. At home, I have the bottom one on the guitar stand and the top balanced on top of it with the back on the wall. Gotta be careful obviously, but ...

I’ve used it for percussion, but I haven’t necessarily tried Blue as a kick. I think I just need to try using it for more modulation in general.

Is there a better alternative in 2019? Not for the size for sure. I use it in every patch. Okay. I'll bite! Can you give some examples of how you use it in your patches? How you decide which colors to use? Any other random thoughts? I have one that I feel I should be using more. I tend to eschew no...
