Free or trade (NYC area) -On Hold

FREE or trade for something you are annoyed with yourself for not using. Sharp 1245 http://rvelectronics.visonerv.com/cgi-bin/md/M280034/s1.pl I have LCD 2 monitors (1382U, 1582A), one with it's stand mount, one without, both power supplies, 1 remote. They both have RCA A/V ins and an S-Video in. T...

I have a frac set up with blacet and bug brand, it's great, totally different in terms of what choices I have in that set up and both companies are really special. What happened to frac? Well we live in a culture where people are often excited about whatever is newest, euro is a bigger market. If we...

If you find a vintage one you are going to have to make power adaptor.
I don't understand why you don't find the simplest looking new one and build a wood enclosure.

"professional flipper"

either of the following are reliable and comply with the definition:

The Band: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flipper_%28band%29
The TV Show: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flipper_%2 ... _series%29

you're welcome.

PS a "Flapper" is something else entirely.

He's a good guy. He knows his vintage synths inside and out. He's totally obsessed and totally legit. I think he probably does the majority of sales to studios and bands with money. I've dealt with him on a bunch of stuff over the years, he's very detail oriented, you have to be patient the same way...

I had totally forgotten that I had my friends older copy of Final Cut Studio. He had given me a bunch of his older software (licenses and all) a while back. Motion 4 is the simplest answer for the compiling of multiple clips in the same window as tiles. I was actually shocked at how smooth it functi...

I am thinking that I will do the grids as prepared items running a few seconds each but want to recall each grid composite clip in different orders depending on what is going on with other live elements. So that leaves composing the grids which I can probably do in after effects and then spit out th...

Video software question (OSX)

I don't know if we need to have a special tread on software but here's what I'm looking for and if anyone wants to input recommendations please do so. I would like to be able to simple create a protection that is made up of multiple smaller video clips. Sort of the way a security set up looks. I kno...

yeah, looks good. I think the #6 should be either a second VCO or a Wogglebug if you are looking for additional voltage sources, modulation and general Woggle. With option 2 that would actually be what my first tier was in my system. I personally wouldn't do bantam just because I'd want the option o...

Out of curiosity has anyone found a app that functions in the manner that vine does for recording? For those who haven't used the app, it records as you tsp or hold your finger down on the screen which causes many people to make aggressive jagged collages. This aspect would be useful as a stand alone.

I played around with one the other day. I thought it was fun. I don't know how it differs from a technological standpoint with their cellular automata device or any of the other stand alone visualizers.

My fear is always that if they are too microchip based they will die. Ths snt totally rational.

I just found a racked unit containing a Tektronix 528A Waveform monitor and 1420 Vectorscope with a note saying "free" I only powered them on to see if they did indeed power up. I downloaded the specs but didn't look at them because I had to go back to work. Hopefully, I will find out later that the...

I assume the VBM cannot be used with the current modules and it's a doorstop until one adds the new versions, correct?

smrl I'm glad someone else thought there was potential in this lo-fi tech. I was thinking primarily as a way of helping with geometric patterns since you have 16 ins and can bring it all to one out.
