No reset on the Serge nCom can be a drag if using it and trying to get things lined up.

Re: Model D: Third Party Mod/Pitch Wheel Needed

I’m seeing them in stock for $10 at syntaur...

Oh wait there’s two. The one for $17 is out of stock. I’m guessing that’s the one ya need. Maybe the $10 can be made to fit? File a flat on the pot ?

Re: Clock Dividers. Essential Range and Divisors?

I’m of the belief that a few that can be chained is better than one monster. Two /31’s and one /8 in my cabinet gets me wherever I need to be. One thing that definitely goes a long way is a touch of utility -inverters, gate delay, comparators... diode mixers perhaps too. Those are what really let yo...

I’ve got a format jumbler and two green banana sockets in my case running heavy gauge wires to the 0v common. I interface with everything with no problems. Go nuts.

Re: Basic sequencing rhythm

Pam’s can take cv inputs to control almost any parameter. Have you tried using that with some other pieces of your system to get a varied timing? Seems like the most logical way to go. I haven’t tried that. If I were to take my original example of a measure of four quarter notes and two eighth note...

Re: which stand-alone sequencer?

MidiBox is complete as a kit if you order the complete kit from Germany and then the BOM from Mouser. So it’s complete if you place those two orders. Not “cheap” but highest quality hardware parts, and packed full of fun sequencing power. https://www.midiphy.com/en/shop-details/119/47/seq-v4-enhance...

Do you have the clock USG divided down before it hits the sequencer? I can get Pretty close (STS panels) but not as clear as a ratchet situation as you have..

Re: Why is there no noise source in the easel?

I think it’s simply a design decision made by Don back in the day. Not everything can make the cut on a portable unit. Look at the easel; where would you put the noise? In place of something else, so what feature or slider or Jack would you get rid of and replace with a noise source? There very well...

Nate that diamond drag blackened font looks pretty good.. It would take a bit of work but you might be able to do some cool things with a pseudo-infield graphic type of fonts on a larger scale.

It keeps the project moving forward and lets the main designer clear their schedule for the cottage project in the next fe...
