Is Disting really suitable as a (recording) sampler, or is this really more a feature like the 4ms WAV Recorder? right on, well, i suppose it depends on how pedantic we wanna get with it. i personally prob wouldn't lump it in with the 4ms or the alyseum, since in theory you could record audio in wi...

so right now, disting mk4 is listed under 'sample players', but technically, as of fw v4.8, it does record (and said recording can be played back, though it requires switching algos, which is a little cumbersome...)

food for thought is all.

mdoudoroff i'd def add the modcan cv record to this edits: -i would also argue that the ISD would fit into the audio buffer category -while there is mention of the tyme sefari expander, it might be worth mentioning that said expander allows for stereo operation (which is potentially good info for p...

am i the only one missing the aliasing? its like my fav thing about the mk1.. :despair: I love the mk1 aliasing as well, however I've been coming around to liking them more at the sound source with the PH mk1 and TS mk1 than at the filter stage so I haven't been exploiting the BL mk1 aliasing latel...

4CV ins and I get 16CVs out.
Each of the 16 should be derived from the 4 ins in a way that I can define or tweak.

Hmm... Have you tried striking your LxD or Optomix with higher the 5v? Like 7-10v? It opens the filter more. So, yes, the ZC MKII does get the LPGs ringing, sure, but it does not open them up as much as I would like. There is a whole range of dynamics I cannot reach when using the ZC. Curious: Is t...

I cam here to ask ya'll about driving LPGs, such as the Optomix or LxD with the Zorlon Cannon gates into the a strike input. I find that 5v is a little too weak to get the response from the LPG I would like. 1. I am curious if any of you fine folks have experienced this and figured something out. 2...

since its fairly new, its not be discussed much...but i recently snagged a doepfer A-138i for this exact purpose and, for the money and space, the feature set is pretty amazing...its a lil bit cramped but the different available output options make routing stuff throughout your rig just from this mo...

I do like NLC but the demos are often not too great (very common in euro).. I wish that the Cellular Automata demo was done using your drum modules instead, that way it would serve as a demo for both them and the CA... tried youtube and for some reason everyone is using VCO's to demonstrate it, not...

all (some) of the hertz donut questions

long story short, a bit new to the older harvestman designs (but finding that i love them) and eyeing a hd for a future IME rig and trying to narrow it down (and for a couple of reasons, no, i can't get both (or all three) and no, i don't want a mk3 at all) soooo.. 1) stupid question perhaps...has a...

another idea is you could throw something like the new doepfer 138i or an intellijell mixup before your A and B inputs on rosie. 3 to 4 channels of mixing + dedicated mutes per input, all in 12hp.
