Cwejman is your brand. Get on the list for one of everything. ;) The L-1 VCA is very good, too.

Re: Live set up and Compressors

I'd do it all yourself. For a lot of us little guys performing means doing 20-30 minute sets on a bill with a bunch of other people. In this scenario, the sound guy may well run off and be chatting with friends during your set or otherwise not really give a crap. I wouldn't leave too much to him. Ag...

Re: Higher end/vintage small mixers

Well within that price range, I went with X-Desk/X-Panda, with money left over for a bit of X-Rack. The DB25 makes things bulkier than I might like, and I get jealous reading about fun vintage stuff like Soy Sos has (that make is now in my Reverb feed 8-) ). But the SSL is so clean and quiet and can...

Re: Pony-Tails and Moog (MU/5U) modulars

I didn't know anyone took the ponytail thing seriously. It is just a long-running joke, often (playfully) stereotyping 5U users as middle aged white dudes, possibly stuck in the 70's, possibly jamming their prog rock. And possibly having a sequined cape hanging in the back of their closet.

Re: Cat-Proof Patch Cable Storage

I have wicker storage baskets under my tables, one for each cable type. The cats have never taken any interest in them. Easy to drop cables in when unpatching, too.

Re: Behringer Wasp Clone incoming

it was $225 from Kraft Music with coupon, but they had to shut down. I just don't get why it lacks the CV/Gate as basic? as well as other ins/outs. I want one, but midi only, nope. why stray from all their other clones? Sounds like all the digital elements make CV IO difficult. Still, trigger ins a...

Re: How Can I Hear Multiple Moog Semi-Modulars In My Headphones?

I actually ended up plugging them both into my audio interface, and just listened to them through Ableton. That's just for the time being, until my mixer arrives. Good job figuring out a solution for yourself with the gear you have. Mixing in software is a legit alternative, which anyone would have...

That's a really cool. I'd love to see a video of the scaling process. Even if 1v/oct response proved to not be as easy and stable as I'd hope, this would be a very fun tool. What a cheap/simple way to dampen my KS lust.

Imagine this, Korg released this product at $3,900 and not a SINGLE person on the entire planet preordered on. Would it still be $3,900 today?

No.
And inversely, when that $3,900 synth sells out nearly as quickly as Justin Beiber concert tix . . .

You think so? I really think they'll be producing more of them which would drive that resale down even if it was brand new... You have given me something to consider though. I'd do it quickly for sure, but someone already sold one for $6500 or something. I'm a little surprised no one has PM'ed you ...
