Mouser has no stock for the Electrolyte Capacitors 1uf 50v UPM1H010MDD1TD indicated in the BOM. Can i use this one UPW2C010MED ?? I think so but I prefer to be on Or someone have a link for UPM1H010MDD1TD or equivalent in Europe. They'll work, but since they are a millimeter wider than the ones in ...

I'm having trouble with my VCO's. All 3 of them. The CA3046's produce a saw wave on pins 3 and 4, 7V p-p offset by about +9V at what seems to be the right frequency (ie around 10hz with fader at minimum), but when it reaches the output pin on the sub board it's a distorted saw 1200hz. When the signa...

I'd be interested in one La Bestia + one Edelweiss.

Will it be possible to get the 555 PCBs bundled this time too?

First off. Thank you ! Yes I did get them from tayda. And they are used in both of these modules ! Did you get a replacement from tayda ? Or from another source ? Cheers. I have a bit of trouble with my Turing: When i lock it at CCW, and try to empty or fill the pattern, ie hold the write switch for a full pattern (16 or 32 steps) it makes 1s or 0s as it should as long as i hold the switch, but when i release it it instead creates a pattern of 1111111100000000 (or 11...

I managed to get mine working, too. The "not making any sound at all" was due to a faulty 5485 transistor that i must have broken while troubleshooting, and the backwardness seems to have been fixed by replacing the LF351 with TL071 (i replaced both, but it's possible one would have been enough).

(It's unlikely to be a pot in reverse, since the pots are attached directly to the PCB. Also, it's backwards when CV controlled too.)

If one would want to drastically cut the upper range of the Frequency knob, would it be as simple as putting a lower range pot there or is it more complicated than that? Right now i have a range from 16Hz to 16kHz or so. Since i also have fairly stable tracking over at least 6 octaves, it's well bey...

Replacing the transistors (BC557 and 547s) didn't help. Then i tried removing the bottom LF351 and running the filter without it, and it seems it doesn't make any difference at all to the functionality of the module whether it even has a LF351 in the socket at all. Tried a couple of different LF351s...

Sounds like a problem somewhere around the lower of the two LF351. Check for solder bridges, reflow for dry joints etc. Check that the BC547 and BC557 near the trimmers are all correct. Ceramics are ok IMO. Thanks for the very quick reply. I checked for bridges and reflowed the lower half of the bo...

Did you check the trimmer in the back? Is it possible that the trimmer setting changed, by touching it or swapping modules in your case maybe? You could notice the screw position (to set it back if it has no influence after turning it) and turn the screw CCW. Does it affects the output? Turns out i...
