No one posted the Tobi Neumann kick vid yet? OK, allow me... That about wraps it up for kicks. For anything else I'd just stick any old sound through a LPG. Great video, and awesome technique, for use in a studio when doing specific...

I've searched the thread and cannot really find anything on feedback mixing. Just wondering if anything would be damaged by creating feedback loops and really driving the hell out of the mixer. Might be safer to put a compressor/limiter in the path just in case but other than that I don't know, I h...

PICkit works for updates. I have a Mac and it is a bit unwieldy and fiddly for sure, but it works. I have the PICkit3 which does the job fine.

TS2 is dope though, even as is, but I would be down for an update for sure.

I noticed a few things about the cue buttons. Pressing two cue buttons at once does nothing. Holding a cue button down turns off cue for all other tracks. Did i miss anything ? I am just noticing this behavior. Since I do not use the cue system normally, I have been think how can I use this creativ...

Here re two that are very different. Zularic Repetitor - Algorithmically generated patterns that can be substantially altered through CV or knob twists. Easy to use, small, fun as hell, 4 gate outputs. Using your clock divider with this could get you some seriously fun results. Varigate 4 or 4+ - Pr...

Of course, but.. is there a cheaper alternative? :bang: I tend to use short (5-step max.) sequences if it matters.
Varigate 4+ will get you there.

I feel for you. Definitely sucks when this happens. Good reason for ALL manufacturers to use reverse power protection and keyed headers. Don't blame yourself, blame PGH.

I agree with the sequencer part of this. Most of his pieces in this vein were written for acoustic instruments and are more about rhythm than pitch (though pitch is important), i.e. clapping music, drumming, piano phase. They are both polymetric and polyrhythmic. You best best would be to get someth...

Hey man, I just want to say I appreciate your videos. You are a bit off your rocker. Have you ever considered mixing your crazy power tool videos with the modular ones? Would love to see you using really dangerous shit as sound and modulation sources.

Hi SarahB it has been a while since I've chimed in on a n00b post but I felt compelled as I am helping guide a friend with his first rack now. I think knowing what you want to do/make is not as important as people make it seem. Not everyone works that way, what it does is put some boundaries in plac...

Anyone have a volca to test the sync out to the ext tap in? Also, if I sync one side does the other side sync up as well? Volca sync should work fine with tap in. no i haven´t. i thought marbles is more a rythm / gate generator. does it have similar cv outs like the other random sources? and noise outs? It has 3 rhythmic gate outs and 4 cv outs, though one is pretty much always slewed random. It does not have noise outs, but you could get noise from it at hi...
