The Digisound Modular 80 PSU - It's an old design, but VERY stable - 3 of them in my Modular, no problems with them so far.

This is the most useful module I've built - 4 in 4 out mixer with uni/bipolar switching. It helps keep modulation sources/destinations under control

I've run across your stuff searching for ARP info... very nice!

Looks like you're guitar builder, too.
Thank you kind sir. The guitar thing... I needed something new to waste my time on :hihi:

No major difference to be honest - I have both VCFs in my modular, they sound pretty similar. The "fixed" 4075 has slightly smoother control over the resonance. For me, it's the definitive VCF for all ARP synths.

 USB guitar! Don't be afraid, we're in the 21st century now :hihi: So, is it just audio to USB? or is there some sort of MIDI sent from the guitar as well? High quality, low latency bi-directional audio only, no MIDI Does it sound as good or better than plugging the guitar into a separate box ...

Fender Deluxe Stratocaster HSS Plus Top (iOS)

Prices are being slashed here in the UK... Down to £399, so how could I refuse. I was put off getting one last year (ADVICE - don't read reviews written by nay-sayers who don't know any better). The iOS connectivity isn't proprietary - you can still use the interface via a Mac/PC and no drivers are ...

No love for the Axoloti DSP Board?

I'm surprised that there's hardly any mention of the Axoloti DSP (€65/£50) here on Wigglers. I came across it purely by accident a few weeks ago, so I thought I'd get one to mess around with - It turns out to be an amazingly useful board... Just fire up the editor and create your synth/effects etc (...

Finally finished the guitar. I never want to sand back and buff a lacquer finish ever again - Too much like hard work  https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1540/24792801892_d8d1698bf2_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1645/24817381271_b786248e8c_b.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1581/242838662...

That's a neat paint job. Got any other crazy ones to show ? No, not yet. This is the first time I've used an airbrush - the yellow to red blend has been a PITA to do  Just a bit more to do/tidy up (face graphic and white to yellow blend on the right) then I'm ready for lacquering fun time. ht...

Squier Mod... Eric Clapton Crash-O-Caster

Still waiting for the Lacquer to finish my 12 string Tele - So to fill in some time, I'm modifying an old and battered Squier Standard Strat to EC's Crash 1  Day 1: Fill in the dents and knocks, sand and prime the body. Day 2: Just a simple Airbrush job with Vallejo Premium Acrylics, Frog T...

The supplied Pups are cheap ceramic ones, really awful, but I'll temporarily replace them with a spare pair of semi decent Wilkinson Alnicos that I've got. Once it's all completed, I'll see how it sounds and decide if any further changes need to be made. I'm just off to pick up the white nitro & pri...

12 String Tele Guitar Kit - Initial Build

Mornin' all... I've been building analogue synths for years, but decided I needed a new challenge, so I bought a cheap Chinese 12 string guitar kit. Out of the box, nothing is finished - both the body (Basswood) and neck (Maple/Maple fretboard) is just bare sanded wood. I decided to top the body wit...

Korg Odyssey LFO/ADSR Retrigger Behaviour - WTF!

Does anybody here own BOTH an original ARP Odyssey AND the new Korg version? If so, please help confirm this problem - It's driving me nuts  On the original, set the LFO REPEAT (ADSR) to on, and play a few notes. You should get an initial trigger from the keyboard followed by triggers from the...

OK, so you've got your ARP Sequencer and TTSH... Now it's time for some fun sequencer processing, so stop all those Daft Punk/Moroder (and in my case, John Carpenter) fumblings, and let's see what else you can do with the 1601

Mine is also that same in terms of starting up the sequencer when powered up, which I think you mentioned in the ordering thread. EDIT: Upon further investigation, Step 1 is only re-triggered on any of the Gate Busses 1-3 if the previous step is DIFFERENT to the relevant Gate Bus. For example, Gate...

Please forgive my cross post, but I need to check something. 1. When you stop the sequence half way through and reset, then start again, does your sequencer play step 1, or does it actually start on step 2? 2. When you power up, does your sequencer automatically start running? I'm not sure if my bui...

Had anyone tried the fcuk mini power with bigger wallwart? 1.6A for example? You can use a 1.6A wallwart without any problems, but I would be wary of trying to draw too much current from FC's board as it's designed for 500ma per rail. When I build a PSU I always make sure there's plenty of headroom...

I guess you'll need to go down the DC/DC Converter route, It's not a cheap option though

I'd keep my eyes open for an AC/AC Wall Wart and use Ray Wilson's solution.
