Since no one has said anything... Its been years since I have done this and I am far from a pro, but this is what I would try. That said, I have never done this with a VHS-s adapter but the approach would be basically the same. Desperate times, desperate measure. You have to unscrew the outer housin...

Welcome to the illness. Many, not most, of your audio modules won't jive with video synthesis. Check the sticky above about adapting eurorack audio for video for more details. You can def get started with that amount. There is a new core module coming soon which also means that some folks wi...

Yeah, not excited about battery driven solutions. That's just asking for trouble out in the field. Also, too many batteries for too little of performance.

Too bad CRTs are so dang deep!

Its why I started this thread! Thanks for the input everyone. I think the car LCD is the answer for me. How do you power it? AC adapter? Hey Weds: Here is what I look for. Portability, weight and dependability. CRTs are just too heavy and cumbersome for me. Also, I barely get enough room for my vide...

What are you guys using as a preview monitor?

Hey there, Just curious what you guys use on the road. I have a tiny portable TV with a 1.5 inch screen I use with the "preview out" on my V-4. Looking for something a bit bigger but just as travel handy. Is there a way to make your iPad take a composite in you can monitor? Too bad it's not feasible...

Now that you are here in town, maybe try the Sales Barron? It's a warehouse of used video gear.

I got a sweet pro 20" Sony monitor (PVM-20M4U) for a bargain.

Nice folks, ask for a cash discount. ;-)

good luck!

Great video of Vintage Keyboards being played by women

This is simply awesome. :sb:

Not sure where else this goes but it deserves a hell of a lot more hits than it has. It's amazing the stuff you can find on YT by yourself - as opposed to blogs. Boo on blogs.

Enjoy!

My rig is being designed specifically to do dub. I hope that aint overkill! I'm newbish so it's very straight forward. I'm just using a ton of delay effects. I am going to "bubble" on my Moskwa with a uscale. Using the Kilpatrick Pattern Generator and two Titans for my bass line. Got some tip ...

Sounds like a frame rate issue.

Basically, its all in sync at the beginning but you are dropping a frame a second or so which adds up over a long time.

Try converting the out of sync source (to the framerate and format of the sync source) and then give it another go.

I will post some video soon. I still have not put my rig back together from last week's show - hoping to get back to goofin' before the weekend is over! Like I mentioned in my OP, I feel like I am getting to know the KPE all over again. I redid all my presets as ones that were fine for video...

Hey Donics,

They got some nice ones on this website!

I cannot find any info as to what kind of shaft any of these knobs have.

Do you happen to know if they have knobs with "D-shafts"??

Nice resource Spip! Thanks! Unfortunately, I think those are too big. The small bear ones are just about 16mm in diameter and these are 20. I put some of the small bear ones on my Doepfers and they are PERFECT - just wish I could find the D shaft version of those. Gotta keep looking! :bang:

Not to worry as there are not many, if any options. There are only two on that website and they are not what I am looking for.

Gotta be someone else making these. I have these same knobs on some other equipment too.

Bueller?
