If you're referring to the VCS3, I suggest that you get onto the Robin Wood (I believe that's his name) waiting list and enjoy your synth at an exorbitant price in fifteen years or so.
Makes for an interesting graph: people who can afford one vs. their life expectancy.

Grumble, grumble; I get excited every time I get a "topic reply" email for this, check it, and it's just a "me too".

Re: would you recommend a modular to someone new to making music?

I would not. Modular systems are more for experimentation and discovery. I usually explain it to people this way: Traditional music is like blazing a trail; there is a destination in mind, and once it is reached, we can all follow the path again and again, enjoying the same view. Modular music is li...

I missed this thread somehow; I have an original, but I would definitely buy both a print and electronic copy.

I just heard; very sad news. :(

His modules will always be the wild heart of my system, and the Improbability Drive will always be my favorite random module.

Samuron, Have you tried contacting Kazike using a different email account ? It maybe an idea to try. I suggest this not as a ploy but because he may not be seeing your emails. This can happen, dunno how. Myself, there are two people whose emails to me never get delivered, there is no "email undeliv...

Hmm, I do not count myself to any mysterious inner circle of knobs and understand the frustration back then when you tried to order but counting the days in your signature since you ordered a module that you do not want anymore seems a bit strange to me. Oh, that should be a "C964" right, not C694? :hmm: Typo in your link title I think. 8-) Oops; yeah, fixed that. I really wanted the Ratchet sequencer, but it really pisse...

UPDATE: I requested the invoice on Sep 24th 2015. I never heard shit from Kazike, meanwhile I know he has fulfilled at least one person's order within the last week. My $800 907a just turned into a €2100 914 from SYNTH-WERK. Kazike will never hear from me again. If you click on the link in my signa...

I cannot count the number of those cords I have thrown away; the idea of buying one is alien to me.

Those are from Club of the Knobs; apparently, it's good stuff, if you can get the guy to sell some to you.

It is! But I can't really take credit for it, I only added the text labeling, someone else put together the image comparison and I don't know who!

I don't have any MOTM, but the FPD files I have put the mounting holes 1/16" closer to the center of the panel than MU.
