Re: Sequentix Cirklon
Anyway I think it's still worth it's price, but for me personally, it's a big investment. Should have started saving back then.. if you can afford it, get it, try it out and if you don't like it, sell it again (for reasonable price please!) this will be a cirklon 2 unit i expect, so more powerful c...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XeaKe18ccMA – High-quality Reverb is now implemented. – Implemented sample anti-aliasing in all the play modes. – Sequential/Immediate pattern change actions in the Performance mode unified with the Pattern mode. – Fixed bug with notes skipping randomly. – Adjusted pr...

Re: Polyend Tracker
i'm a long time renoiser & bought the tracker because "i'm a tracker head and was going to buy it regardless" ... :D viewing angles seem fine to me, i've used it on my lap, in bed, on the studio desk and perched precariously on the edge of my little buchla case and haven't had any real issue with it...

Yeah, wait for dealers to stock 'em I'd say. You'll probably get it before me doing that!

Re: Polyend Tracker
My order was confirmed on 18th March, shipped 8th June, arrived in the UK on the 11th June but has been stuck in UPS death spiral ever since! I wish companies would stop using that shitty courier.
Anyway, not sure that helps you but I think they're getting through them first come, first served.

Re: 261e FM Question
Oh and another question (sorry im new to Buchla), but the Mod Osc. on my 259e is much faster according to the Led in Low mode than the Mod Osc. of the 261e when they are both at 12 o'clock. Was wondering if thats normal or a bug of some sort. I noticed that on mine too. Got the impression it was no...

+1 for the o tool here, I’ve got an older version but I consider it essential for serious wiggling.

Hmm, interesting, many thanks for that. I have the same otool module so will do the same test soon as I can. Are your leds flashing at the same rate when you have the same knob settings in lfo mode?

259e & 261e mod osc freq mismatch?
Hi there, Should the sub audio mod oscs of these two modules produce the same output frequency if I dial in the same position on their pots? I recently acquired a 261e and noticed they don't match as one might expect. The leds blink at different rates & I can definitely hear the difference. I've bee...

Re: 1976 Buchla 266 Source of Uncertainty
Not sure if my question could be deemed as off topic but I’m wondering how the e version differs from this earlier model? Are the random sections exactly the same in terms of functionality and where did the slew and sample & hold sections go? As in, which e module(s) have these functions now (if an...

akai s950 mic & line in gone very quiet :(
anyone had this issue & managed to fix it?
looking at schematics i guess it could be anything from loose wiring, dry joints?, old caps and/or blown op-amps???
i'm not an expert so i guess my chances of fixing this myself are slim (but could be fun!
)
any advice, gratefully received
