Re: Where should I start?

I think I would go for the 208 Command + Sensel w/Thunder overlay. A little bit more functionality that the standard 208, future expand-ability (cards/fx, etc), midi options PLUS touch control which is within the Don B paradigm.

Re: Jomox ALPHA BASE

Man, I agree the Alphabase destroys the AR in the Analog drum dept. Unfortunately, the AR wins in regards to UI/usability/sequencer and more fleshed out sampling, which unfortunately means that the AR is the better machine overall IMO. I have been wondering about using Drambo to sequence the AB. Sor...

This sounds great, Robert! I recently picked up a second Radio Music thinking I would give Telharfauxnium a try. I too Really love the OA but I am going to have to give this a try! Thanks for being a masochist!

Just bumping to say I have enjoyed my light dives into Drambo. I expect to go a little deeper this weekend - I will reserve any further comments until after my deeper dive.

Re: A somewhat selfish list of things I'd like to see Tom make

And some kind of wave SHAPER would be quite handy to go with those new quadrature VCOs :D actually a quadrature vco with variable waveshaper before the phase taps would be especially awesome .. but i suppose that design has already been concluded :p Not exactly what you are wishing for but the Dual...

Re: DeltaPhoenix's Questionable Recordings

https://soundcloud.com/heragicctor/creeper playing the patch was really fun. I made a lot of the sounds by using the joystick/touch as a control source. When sci-fi sounds swell up, that is when I push a pad and send a gate. It was so cool to push on the pad and kickoff downstream events meaning se...

Re: Do you reckon there will be a Sequential Pro3 Desktop module?

I have wondered about that myself. I am pretty sure I couldn’t contain myself. I may buckle and get one with keys if they don’t announce a module within a year or so. I also could be swayed to buy a Prophet X module.

Re: Stepping up from a Soundcraft MTK mixer/interface

Hi Dave, you nailed what I have been looking for and it appears that I am looking for a Unicorn  The hunt so far has gone like this: I find something that looks like it will check those boxes and then find an issue like like audio is sent to the computer prior to hitting eq, insert or fader. Or...

Re: Stepping up from a Soundcraft MTK mixer/interface

So I would need a separate audio interface if I go that route. I will explore those mixers you mentioned. The work flow I have in mind would be a mixer, that inserts, aux, send/returns that is also an audio interface that takes the audio post fader so I can get the advantage of a mixer and outboard ...

Stepping up from a Soundcraft MTK mixer/interface

I just finished the construction a 10' x 20' standalone building that is music studio/home office (plus storage in a a grandma's attic). I haven't had all of my synths/bass gear/FX/random music instruments in on space for quite sometime. I have a 12 channel in to stereo out Behringer Euro line mixer...

Re: most beautiful synthesizers

I need a stand just like that for my Synthi, do you know what stand that is? That's the Konig & Meyer 17580 A "Heli" guitar stand if I am not mistaken. The Heli 2 is slightly different but not sure if there's any difference in angle/which dimensions fit. Going by pictures it looks the same in those...
