I think Mr. Moonbeams hit this one out of the park. Can't wait to hear it.

Re: March Madness 2020 Sale @ LWSS is now over

That's cool, "TM"! Very useful module. There are some great YT examples of it on davidryle's channel. I think "CGS01" is a good search term. Thanks. I was surprised as anyone to see that email. It's a module I hadn't initially considered, so it'll be fun trying it out to see what it can bring to the...

Re: Super cool rock n roll music

Great track. Nice groove and production. I like your vocals most in your upper range. They just glide in a nice way. In the beginning, the vocal sounds a little halting, or maybe it just doesn't quite seem to have the presence in the mix a lead usually has. It is an impressive effort. I was interest...

Re: New Moon 508 modular filter bank set

Still waiting for some proper demos of what this thing can do for such a premium price . I want to believe but I need to hear it musically . When you remember that the Moon P cabinet is 1300 euros, I'd guess the "premium" here comes from the small powered tolex cab. It is possible it is adding +/- ...

Re: Where or How to learn everything about modular synthesizer?

An oscilloscope (software or cheap vintage) can be helpful. You can hear a lot of things, but sometimes seeing what happens to a waveform (both audio and cv) when you patch can aid understanding. This forum is a pretty deep resource. When you get to the point of asking more specific questions, you w...

Re: DIY dotcom wiring harness

Nothing wrong with that at all. The only issue to consider with more modules on the same psu is the psu's amperage. I have a bunch of stray Dotcom power cables from wiring harnesses I've taken apart. If you PM me your address (and aren't in a terrible hurry), I would be happy to send a couple to you...

Your Favorite Electric Piano Tracks

I need a playlist for a two hour drive to go buy a 1971 Fender Rhodes Mark 1 tomorrow night. :driving: And maybe an inspirational nudge to pull the trigger. :deadbanana: would you indulge me by posting a favorite Rhodes or ep track? Pretty please? :hyper:

Re: EMS Synthi waiting list

To invert a signal patch a pin to the meter column and patch the scope output to a hi level input with a jack cable, the inverted signal is then available on the corresponding input channel row and you can patch it together with the filter output to the output channel. Very happy to have seen this ...

I thought, what if I send one of them, nootch for instance, to another filter first? That kind of serial filtering could be something I have to explore further.
Heck yeah! :sb: :hihi: I like feeding the notch back into the attenuated input on the Q107. Never thought of using a second filter.

Re: Making a "sequencer" with a clock divider and mixer

That's great! It's so rewarding when you figure these sorts of work-arounds out for yourself! This particular one is one that I've enjoyed a lot. I even ditched my fancy sequencers for a spell because I was enjoying using this and other techniques. You can also use VCA's to attenuate the gates so th...

Dual Slope Gen 3 MU - V3(1).png I saw the same error when I tried it, so I converted it to a .png file and it worked, though its a biggie. Happy to delete it if you figure out a better way. There's so much going on here, I think I'd sacrifice the logic jack in favor of keeping this layout. The two ...

My Euro system is largely based around 1010music’s toolbox and bitbox. Toolbox provides digital sequencing, which minimizes headaches live. The bitbox adds sampling, which I use for manipulating rhythm and fx bits. Those type of functions are largely missing in 5U. I’m pretty happy having them in Eu...

There little bit of give in the stand when patching, but its base is fairly deep and feels quite sturdy to me.
