Enjoy! :guinness:

I know it outputs from a single jack put can you put a stereo source in and get results?
Sure, but the "result" will be a mono signal (mixed L and R if you use the two audio inputs for stereo) :tu:

Re: Re:

I've been lusting over the stereo version but it seems you have to order directly from the states. No dealers in EU. Funky Junk carries some Overstayer stuff, but they don't list the Modular Channel. I suppose you could ask them about it if you want them to import it for you. I've got a Stereo Volt...

The USB socket on mine has gone intermittent quickly, so I cannot power it reliably anymore. Would not buy again.

Re: Cwejman res-4

All controls remain offsets when using CV on the RES4. There aren't any controls for the master level, so that CV input cannot override anything :tu:

Have you tried attenuating the input?
+1, and no saturation dialed in. I've used the MMF1s for 4-voice paraphonic chords / stabs and got fantastic results.

Thank you!! That makes a lot of sense I appreciate the layout my 5 yr old brain absorbed it nicely. My pleasure! Five is about the right age to learn this basic rhythm ;) :hihi: The ultimate question is this possible with the modules I have (Rene and Pam). I was originally thinking of using Rene as...

Re: Reggae Tone BEAT!

You absolutely do not need Euclidean rhythms to do that. Simple 8 step (0.5 bar) 4/4 sequence. Straight kick on 1 and 5, "snare" (or whatever) on 1, 4, and 7. Which you can totally see him programming in the video :tu: Can I do this with the old Pam's? That only divides / multiplies, so you could d...

Re: Polyphony/legato sense check (and hello)

Let me try to rephrase the problem... If you hold a key with a (single zone, non-AI) poly keyboard and then press a second one while still holding the first, the keyboard cannot possibly know whether that should be a mono legato line or a duophonic chord. It always produces the latter (ignoring maxi...

Re: When does filter attack time become irrelevant? (Maths geeks?)

It also depends on the playing. A single note is different than a fast repeated staccato - because the attack will start where the release is at currently (in proper envelopes, that is). You can kind of "open up" the attack dynamically playing like that.

For 5-8k and matrix mixer, I would ask Hinton Instruments. They could build an amazingly flexible custom mixer for that :sb:

Re: Definitive "how to multitrack record your Eurorack"

Having invested a good deal of time and money on this topic last year, I’ve drafted an introductory guide. https://doudoroff.com/multitracking/ Any corrections and suggestions appreciated. I think you shouldn't restrict the analogue output module approach to a "DB25 adapter"... Does it matter if yo...

Those are 1/3U. Thanks for making me research them, they look perfect for a bunch of small gaps I have!

Re: Side chain compression

Since TinyPic has folded in the meantime, here's my graphic again. Maybe that helps. In your specific patch with an ADSR, it sounds like the gate length is shorter than the attack you are dialing in. https://www.muffwiggler.com/forum/download/file.php?mode=view&id=44961&sid=ba378173614d4de21d8b4e3cd...

Re: Module for turning smooth CV changes into steps?

Imagine this: I have a sawtooth LFO, running an 1hz. Now, with the rising portion, i want it to, instead of gliding smoothly from trough to peak, step in 4 jumps. What module could do this sort of thing for me? And to take it further, imagine i now slow the LFO down to 0.6hz. But i still want 4 (ho...

Re: Hinton Instrument SequenceMix

Over my head. All I can picture is 1-8 different waveforms being played into a filter. Triangle, now Sine, now square. Im clearly missing something Of course, it can do that, and it's fun. One of the first things I tried was four different waveforms of one multi-output VCO into 1-4, and four square...

Re: Hinton Instrument SequenceMix

I can't understand what this thing does. I need to study the arp module I guess Think of it as dual 4:1 or single 8:1 mixers where you can sequence the "mutes" for each channel using various methods :yay: With an offset multed to all channels (i.e., the standard configuration without any patching) ...

FWIW, I'm very happy with my Orion 32+. No issues whatsoever and I really like the sound. The routing matrix is also pretty cool. Does anyone have experience to back up BT's claim that audio interfaces sound WILDLY different. I'm not buying it. I made some comparison files when I upgraded from my ol...

Re: Registering Your Music?

Depends what your goal is... Theoretically, "copyright" is immediately generated the moment you create something. The hard part is being able to proof and enforce that. A cheap and easy way is to send yourself a registered letter with a DVD or USB stick inside containing all the info you want to "pr...
