Hi. Yes, I have. And I own a CS-60 and a CS-50. But the samples sound rather generic to me. I can't hear much Yamaha CS, and again, I really want to. I can pick any random video on YouTube and hear it - but not in those samples. But I do believe in Roman's skill - what he's building seems like a rem...

Which is in the past by 4 hours, I see.

No BOM. No samples....

Surely there must be more who feel an extension is warranted.

Hey Roman, Could you please provide the latest order and order cancellation time in some specific time zone? Is June 1 in reference to the time/date in Tokyo (JST?) or EST or some other time? Also, since you haven't posted any new samples yet, would it at all be possible to extend the order and/or c...

Lovely noise modulation on the CS.

Very useful for some of us :)
Especially when you use the aftertouch to control the amount of noise fed as modulation.
EXACTLY!

Thanks for the updates. One question: Just noticed that NOISE is missing from the sub-osciillator. Can this be programmed into the RANDOM function, or would I need to use the patch points on the expander? I use this all the time on my CS-50. :hmm: i wonder if RND isn't the same as thing as NOISE on...

Roman... could you please post some more sound samples? I want to love this thing, but I can't hear all that much of the CS sound in your current samples. I'd specifically like to see that it can do the CS funky/buzzy thing like in this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TRE8D5dthA0 (knowing of ...

Just updating the list that Roman has just confirmed that the 17 does include the extra for the expansion box (16 + 1 = 17 I guess, so duh to me... but hey, what do I know what with LFOs etc..). Anyway, he's taken expansion into account. I still wouldn't mind if these lots contained an extra CEM in ...

Thanks so much for organizing this! Just a thought - It seems possible that Roman would use the CEM for the VCO in the ring mod expansion unit. Wouldn't it be wise to check in with him re the expected VCO count *including the future expansion box* so that we don't all need to organize another group ...

At one point long before the Muffwiggler posts, I believe that Zthee mentioned (in Swedish) an affiliate selling component parts. Sort of a kit. My intent is not to troll. I have been following this project since it's Swedish inception and never before commented. My concerns, even if unfounded, are ...

M-Circus, you are a gentleman (or woman) and a scholar. I appreciate your acknowledgment that I am not at all trying to be a troll. Unfortunately, I don't have much tact - so I'm pissing some people off here. I should have edited my original post to be less… accusatory. I've just found the who...

The world owes me nothing. Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Zilch. I never suggested that. But when I engage in a business transaction, I do expect certain things. I will pay Zthee my money, and then and only then will he will owe me an Arp 2600 kit. Given that this is a community forum, I would appreci...

Oberling - I will admit that what I am scared of is that there will be a shortage of sliders, jacks, uncommon transistors, and thermistors, and that I will have to purchase them, at increased cost, from an affiliate who had advance knowledge of the BOM (as I thought I read on an early 99musik post)....

I have no issue with the guesses at the price. I have no issues with Zthee charging what he deems to be a suitable price for his time... … as I said in my above posts. That being said, I think a BOM is not an outrageous request (or at least some info on the transistors to order and start match...

It was not my intent to be rude, but I probably underestimate my lack of tact. I fully intend to purchase this kit, but I simply do not see it as a community based project. It's a pure and simple business transaction. There has been little to no community input on the design. The price, by all estim...

Moog55 - I completely agree that it is bizarre that he has not released the BOM. He should at least explain why he has not done so (for example, maybe he has doubts that the manufacturer will not pull through for him and doesn't want people ordering in advance. Alternatively, maybe he himself (or hi...

Paia 4710 balanced modulator and 2720-1 VCA hum...

Hi, New to this list.... I'm curious if other Paia owners have experienced hum when using modules that use 18V off of the standard Paia 4700 power supply - like the 2710-1 VCA and 4710 VCA/Balanced modulator. The other voltages that the PSU supplies are regulated, but not the 18V. Is it generally a ...
