Trunk line module
I know this topic has been raised occasionally, but I'm unable to find a trunk module so posting here for any tips. I have a few cases and would like to place them in different areas of my studio. I am seeking a trunk line module to route audio/CV throughout the various cases from a distance. Intell...

All the filtering on this was done with the QMMF-4. I've found it to be a very flexible and musical filter. The layers in the tracks went through a few passes of the QMMF-4 modulated primarily by the Modcan Quad LFO.

I would love a drum module that allowed you to make all 3 sounds at one, with 3 separate triggers in, one for kick, one for snare and one for percussive elements...why do module makers make them one voice per module only...it does my head in..? There are a few modules available that have multiple d...

I've used a variety of approaches and found each has its own pros and cons. At one end you can easily create drum/percussive sounds from standard modules used for a synth voice (osc/env/filter/vca/etc.). Tons of flexibility. The downside is you can quickly eat up a lot of module functionality puttin...

The Z8000 is a great complement to the Metropolis. I use these two together all the time. To drive both the A and B aux inputs independently, you need to use two separate sequences. The Z8000 can easily do this, but if you want 2x 8 step sequences, you'll need 2x A-151s. The RCD should be fine to tr...

What a demo ! Would you mind giving a few more details on what other modules you used and how? In particular I'd be interested to know what modulation and sound sources you were using, and how you were doing reverb (external?). Cheers! Sure, delays were from the TipTop Z-DSP and Modcan Dual ...

Been doing some more experimentation with the QMMF-4. Here's a drone patch with many of the elements routed through the QMMF-4.

I did a casual check of some of my modules (e.g. Intellijel Quadra) and it seems most expect +5v triggers. So the fact that the Robokop puts out 4.2V as standard unless you add an accent is really disappointing. Seems like a very shortsighted design decision as it would require the user to apply acc...

Thanks all - very helpful! I am primarily concerned with whether 4.2V would be sufficient to trigger most of my modules with trig inputs, as opposed to how to get variation with accents. Seems Acidlab may have spec'd the baseline trigger voltage too low. Though one could accent everything to increas...

Typical Trigger Voltage Level in Euro
I was looking at the Robokop trigger sequencer from Acidlab and noticed the following: "Every trigger-output without programmed Accent on this step has an amplitude of 4,2 Volt , and the duration of the impulse is 10ms. With programmed Accent on this step, the amplitude of this step will be rised in...

It would be good to at least get an updated image of QMMF-4 for the BCM site. The current one is out of date. Differences include: (1) The actual module only has a mater fine tune knob for cutoff. No course knob. Instead, there is a "Wet Level" knob which controls the volume of all 4 filters. (2) Th...
