Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

That ebtech and beh. manufactured their cable tester in the same chinese factory is a baseless claim. However. That because the ebtech displays a 'made in USA' label negates the possibility that the design formative elements and components of the two cable testers were in fact manufactured in the sa...

Re: Behringer 2600

Absolutely agree on the reverb. It's awful. My exact thought was that when he brought in the reverb it just sounded like an underwhelming softsynth.

Well at least I don't have to worry about whether or not to add yet another beh to the 'want' list.

Re: Behringer: practices, ethics, morals and legitimacy.

Interesting. Very interesting. This 'leak' of business correspondence tells us a lot that we didn't previously know but had speculated a lot about. If nothing else it gives the two opposing tribes a little more meaty substance on which to entrench their positions. --I'd just like to commend the mods...

Re: Behringer 2600

I like the form factor... looks like a solid metal case too... same quality level as the 340... AMsynths lends a level of credibility to the 'actual' sound quality.
Is it a real spring verb?
Interesting to see what the actual price will turn out to be... could be anything from 500 to 1500?

when you go to the bar to order a new drink you can also order 10% more resonance on the blue, and 5% less env on the red.

The president of the USA tweets himself on twitter (covfefes and all). Elon Musk often spends hours reading and responding to social media. It's not that inconceivable that Uli does the same in the music gear equivalent social media space.

Really interesting discussion about the clocks and perception. Some thought sabout it that I have First of all, whatever way you lean on the importance of the perceived quality of the XOX sequencer timings. i don't find it likely that the Roland engineers actively designed them in. It was simply a l...

Sorry if this has been discussed. Does anyone know if the BS-Pro can have different clock divisions per sequencer? Example: Sequencer 1 @ 1/16th note while sequencer 2 @ 1/8th note. The bottom right four pads marked 1/4 1/8 1/16 1/32 when you press the 'shift' button... would likely set separate di...

If one can apply the random, swing and last step, variably to each of the drum parts, then I would say the beatstep is far superior to the CR.

Apparently the name on the patch panel is a clue that there may be more cv madness available.

"SEM Patch Panel 1" means there may also be an optional "SEM Patch panel 2"

Does the darn thing still quantize the CV to traditional pitches? Is there a free CV mode for unquantized CV? Good question. Potentially the velocity CV out could be used for unquantized values. With 128 discrete steps. But How does the velocity cv out work? 0-127 = 0-5v? Is it held at the value fo...
