Re: Behringer Wasp Clone incoming
NO CV inputs on the Behringer WASP? What a missed opportunity. Strange because it seems all their other desktop units have plenty of CV I/O so I don't get it. What was the point of making it eurorack compatible who would want this in their modular? Disappointing.

Re: Opinions: New (Korg) Arp 2600 or Serge Animoo panel
Not even for 2 panels. I got to use a vintage 2600 a few years back in a studio and that sold me on the 2600 ergonomics and sound. True it does lack some patchability, so I probably would have augmented my setup with a 4U Serge, but I ordered a Hordijk system which arrived last September and pretty...

Re: Opinions: New (Korg) Arp 2600 or Serge Animoo panel
I wouldn't trade my Korg 2600 for a Serge panel. I love the R*S Eurorack Serge stuff, and I have access to a R*S Serge 4U XL boat in the studio (soon to be augmented by TKB) - but the 2600 is a joy to use and the sound is glorious. what about for 2 serge panels? haha I agree the 2600 does have char...

Re: Opinions: New (Korg) Arp 2600 or Serge Animoo panel
For what people are trying to sell them for you could probably get the Animoo and another panel. I would take a couple Serge panels over the Korg 2600 but I think it would depend on what kind of music you make or don’t make. yes this is true. love the 2600 but the keyboard does not get used at all ...

Re: Synton Fenix 4
st3.jpg you could sell your 2600 for $10K buy a Fenix 4 and have money left over why trade hmmm will look into that, didn't realize they were so pricey now. I would take a Fenix 2 or 4 over a 2600 any day. They are very different, and sound very different. cool studio. would definitely be cool in y...

Re: Synton Fenix 4
I wouldn't sell a BugBrand for this! a 2600, yes. The BugBrand and Fenix, are more about creativity, less about musical usefulness. They crossover, but I have an early 2600, that I would easily trade for a Fenix IV, the 2600 is great, sounds amazing, but after all these years, isn't that inspiring....

Re: Synton Fenix 4
who on earth wants a desktop unit that large and wide taking up so much table space agreed! that's a weird one, as they say they wanted to follow the format of the Fenix, but this doesn't stand on its own, and seems difficult/awkward to mount. It would've been cool if the case bent outward a bit fo...

Re: Buchla Easel Command Module 208C
can a buchla command c desktop be racked in a portable rack case? not to expand a bigger buchla system but just to be racked on its own? You can buy the 208c without the boat or unrack it and put it in another boat, but you need a Buchla boat, because the size and power/control connector is special...

final 4-panel 200e system recommendations
so since the 200h half modules are now available, if you were going to build a 200e 4-panel system (in a powered 4-panel boat), would you still incorporate any "h" modules? for example, would you go for: 259e, 266e, 281e, 292e 259e, 267e, 281e, 292e 259e, 261e, 267e, 281h, 292h these are just some s...

If DSI can do an internal power supply on a $2,500 desktop unit, I'd expect Moog to manage on a $7,000 machine The DSI analog synths use cheap Mean Well PT-65 switching PSU's. There are literally the cheapest, dirtiest off-the-shelf PSU's you can buy (about $12 in quantity). They post-regulate the ...
